Beautiful Countryside Cottage Alnwick

Very clean and comfortable place in a nice quiet area

Very cosy and comfortable.

A bit pricey

Location good

Not enough cutlery and crockery

A pleasant comfortable cottage . Good location

We encountered IT issues with the property as we could not get on to Wi-Fi . This became very frustrating with constant calls to booking .com and the hosts , who at first were unobtainable . Getting through to booking .com with their AI answers was beyond annoying and when through difficult to understand at times . Also was cut off mid sentence when I then had to go through the whole process again and once again go through the AI intervention . I would have thought booking.com you could have rang me back . The hosts although tried to help did take a long time to get back to me and I did have to keep asking . Eventually the problem was sorted by a family friend who was able to diagnose the issue by using their phone . Easy and simple when you know how . If onnly this could have been carried out by the hosts . The cottage although comfortable and warm once we worked out the heating lacked basic essentials ie Washing up liquid , bin bags , cutlery , one not very sharp knife , one wine glass. And wobbly dining chairs and the gate had to propped shut by a stone . I also had to message the hosts to ask about getting into the property which took a while and eventually went through booking .com
