The location and the retro style.
Shower upstairs was stuck on very hot and there wasn’t really enough space for us all to sit down, watch tv together and relax.

Really central location in Alnwick close to the town centre and amenities.
Lovely comfortable property with good amount of space.
Really cool basement area which was nice in the heatwave.
Host was brilliant and sorted out a couple of things for us really quickly.
Great to have cot and highchair there so we didn’t have to bring with us.
Although lovely sash windows the bedrooms did get hot but the weather was particularly hot when we stayed.
Bathroom/wet room floor was quite slippery when wet.
Well equipped kitchen but could have done with a couple of larger saucepans and frying pan given the size of the property if you want to cook in.

A brilliant central location for meals out and looking round Alnwick. Plenty of space for the family. Lovely quirky decor.
Shower thermostat wasn’t working in upstairs bathroom but best way to use is turn off and on every 3-4 mins.
