Perfect little place to stay, right in the centre of Alnwick. Not far from the bus station and about 5/10min walk from the castle, gardens and Barter Books.
Very homely and cozy stay. Perfect for solo travel, couples or small family.

The location is excellent, right in the middle of Alnwick within easy walking distance all over. A very good restaurant, Adam & Eve, just a five minute walk away was excellent.
I am guessing there are not many guests during the winter months. The apartment was freezing when we arrived - a little tip to the owners: if guests are arriving in the winter months it would be a good idea to turn the heating on to warm the apartment before their arrival. Sadly, there were no instructions on how to operate the heaters but after some trial and error we managed, only to have them turn off after 30 minutes to an hour. Also, the information pack had instructions for two WiFi networks, neither of which were the one to use. A phone call to the owner solved the problem but it would be handy if the information in the welcome basket was up to date. Otherwise, the apartment was "fine", clean and tidy and comfortable.
