The accommodation was great.

Location is brilliant. Walking distance to everything you need in Alnwick. Bonus points for having a dedicated car park space to the rear. Bedrooms spacious. There were just 4 of us so we didn't need the 3rd bedroom. Lounge could have done with another sofa/armchair if there are more than 4 people staying.

A great appartment close to all amenities in the beautiful town of Alnwick

This is a lovely property in a good part of the town, close to the centre but away from too much noise. It’s nicely furnished and decorated.

The property could do with a deep clean. Lots of hanging cobwebs, and walls that need cleaning or a lick of paint. It could also use some more oven trays as there are none, meaning the grill and oven were not useable. We went over Christmas and while the heating schedule was fine, it could do with some blankets to make it more comfortable.

It was adequate. We would have liked more colour, pictures on the walls and the carpet to be cleaned.

The table and chairs were flimsy. The car park we were told we could use free was actually someone else’s property.

The decor ideas were nice through out and had some lovely features and fittings. Rooms were nice sizes, bathrooms were nicely done again with nice fixtures and decor, reasonable price.

There was no sign to say this property was no1 on any of the doors so took us a little time to find it. Living room sofa was a bit small and uncomfortable there was 5 of us on this stay and only a 2 seater sofa and a chair. paint work was a bit patchy could do with a good paint job. Freezer was broken not ideal in the summer months if you want ice.

Needs a little bit of TLC but ok if you're only sleeping there.

The location was good, very easy to get to the castle and gardens and Barter Books. Supermarket nearby and takeaway places for food. Bathroom was nice and big, kitchen was adequate and there were teabags and sugar left. 3 decent sized bedrooms.

The house had a lot of cobwebs throughout and felt a bit unloved, it really wouldn't have taken much effort to make it better. A lick of paint, some comfy chairs/sofa and a whizz round with a feather duster! The windows are old and do nothing to stop the noise from the street which is quite busy with trucks and buses from early morning until late.

kitchen under equipped particularly glassware and cooking utensils sitting room barely adequate for 6 people. Sofa needs urgent armrest repair No hooks anywhere to hang coats etc staircase awkward for older people The garden area unkempt and furniture dangerous. Arch way entrance to car parking area narrow and lined with dustbins would be unsuitable for large SUVs and is very untidy

Lovely flat, for the price would have expected a few basics.

Location, decor, outside space, and shower was good.

There were no basic accoutrements; including salt & pepper. No dishwasher tablets or even sponge provided to wash up. Given the listing and price, one would expect to be able to at least make a cup of tea. a bit lacking when compared to other properties I’ve stayed in.

We paid for 3 nights but left after the first night.

It had Netflix and the communications from the owners was good. It was central to Alnwick.

The property was quite cold and in a very deprived and rundown area. The vicinity was actually quite depressing. The house is directly next to a fairly busy road and the noise from traffic passing in the morning was quite loud. The parking was difficult to get to through a narrow archway being blocked by a series of bins and was also strewn with litter. The furnishing and bedding was generally very cheap and poor quality. The small area at the back of the house also had debris and litter which could easily be cleared up by the owners. After the first night my wife had what appeared to be bites on her back which may or may not have been from the bedding. Overall, we felt that the property in no way justified the cost. In fairness we were very disappointed with Alnwick which isn’t the fault of the accommodation.

Lovely home very near to Alnwick town.

Lovely decoration and very new, appreciate being accommodated last minute.

Some areas of the property were damp/ cracking. Windows in bedrooms wouldn’t lock. The parking area is very narrow and untidy.
