Perfect for our stay

Good location few minutes walk and you’re in to the town centre. Somewhere to park (first come basis) but off street parking opposite. Good size townhouse. Nicely decorated. Comfy beds and sofas. Two bathrooms, downstairs toilet. Fully equipped kitchen. Useful information folder. Host was responsive and helpful.

A great property that I would definitely recommend

Great location, very clean and comfy. Excellent kitchen, nice rooms, plenty of bathrooms. Genuinely no complaints, but only filling in the next section (what I didn’t like) because of being asked!

Parking was a little tight around the back, towels were a little on the small side, top floor could have done with a bin and bedrooms would have benefitted from a mirror/dressing table area as bathrooms weren’t great for getting ready.

A perfect location for a family weekend away.

Clean and beautifully presented home, travel cot and high chair provided free of charge. Lots of nice touches including kids toys and games, perfect for families. Great parking for a town centre location. Margaret is a fab host and couldn’t do enough to help us.

Wonderful stay

The place was spotless and check in code was provided early and was seamlessly easy. Tea and coffee is provided so you can make yourself a brew before going to the shops to get supplies which is so appreciated. Instructions were provided for all appliances and all were immaculately clean. Parking was easy for all three couples. There is loads of availability free of charge immediately opposite. The location was fantastic. Within touching distance of barter books and 10 minutes walk of the castle. We were 6 (slightly overweight..!!) adults and managed beautifully for a long weekend. For a sustained longer period I would say this would have been trickier simply because of property size, but I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Would absolutely stay again and see more of the area. Thankyou.

Wonderful Alnwick location. Especially family friendly

Our family loved our 4 night stay here. We enjoyed the generous welcome items and the proximity of the house to all that Alnwick has to offer. We could always easily park on site too. The Barter Books across the road is recommended for a visit or coffee stop. The house was clean and well equipped. All rooms and bedrooms were clean and spacious, a true home from home. The host's communications were excellent from beginning to end.

Location excellent; easy walk into Alnwick for sights and restaurants. Easy to get in touch with the owner. Lots of good suggestions in the house booklet. Very well equipped.

The house was very well equipped, but just one or two suggestions. Please provide larger bin bags that fit the bin. Please also provide a bread knife and a cloth for dishes. But these were minor points; we had pretty much everything we could possibly need for a stay.

Superb location for visiting Alnwick Castle and Lilidorei. Five mins ish walk to the town centre and a handy corner shop very nearby. There was a very generous welcome box of food and drink too. Lots of lovely little touches.
