Location was excellent- we could walk everywhere in Alnwick.
It was clean, well equipped, comfy beds, nice large towels and plentiful hot water.
Parking our (largeish) car in the spaces identified as "for visitors " was very tight indeed, and we chose to park across the road in the public lay-by.
Had we fully occupied the house's five bedspaces, dining together at the kitchen table would have been very cosy- it's a small room and a small table!

Our stay in Alnwick was a complete success. The accommodation was very clean, cosy and tastefully decorated. We particularly liked the quiet location - perfect for relaxing and at the same time exploring Alnwick comfortably. The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful The location of the accommodation is ideal - both the city centre and Alnwick Castle and the beautiful Alnwick Gardens are within easy reach. Overall we felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. A clear recommendation for those looking for a pleasant and relaxing overnight stay in Alnwick.

Nice and clean and in a great location
Couple of minor points reported to the host concerning the top floor bathroom and other areas. Good response from the hosts and we were confident the issues would be addressed.
None of them spoiled our enjoyment.

Location
Very squeaky floors & doors, dark passages by doors and in stairs well. Outdoor seating was right by a busy road. Top floor bathroom extremely cramped.
No dishwasher tablets, no toilet roll in downstairs toilet.
No WiFi code provided, we eventually found it on the router but extremely difficult to read due to the location of the router
No indication of parking arrangements, and parking space very restricted.
Lack of an information folder and user instructions for appliances.
