Nice and clean and in a great location
Couple of minor points reported to the host concerning the top floor bathroom and other areas. Good response from the hosts and we were confident the issues would be addressed.
None of them spoiled our enjoyment.

The property was spacious, bright and had a well appointed kitchen. It was very close to the bus stop and a Lidl.

Location was excellent, within walking distance of Alnwick centre, castle and gardens
There is no parking, as described in the advert. There is a garage but no access to it & it is very tiny, if you have a smart car, you may get it in.
We could not lock or open the front door from the outside. There was no instructions on how to work the central heating and the tap in the kitchen was very stiff to move. We rang the number given with the booking and spoke to a male who said he would send someone round the next day before 10 am. Nobody showed up, so we just had to put up with the central heating being hit and miss. We managed to get the tap to work but the tap itself was flimsy. The whole house creaked and everyone knew when one was up in the night to use the bathroom. All the doors need some WD40 on them and the floorboards need looking at. However, we did not let these issues spoil our stay.

Location
Very squeaky floors & doors, dark passages by doors and in stairs well. Outdoor seating was right by a busy road. Top floor bathroom extremely cramped.
No dishwasher tablets, no toilet roll in downstairs toilet.
No WiFi code provided, we eventually found it on the router but extremely difficult to read due to the location of the router
No indication of parking arrangements, and parking space very restricted.
Lack of an information folder and user instructions for appliances.
