Lovely apartment in a great place

Nice and clean and in a great location

Couple of minor points reported to the host concerning the top floor bathroom and other areas. Good response from the hosts and we were confident the issues would be addressed. None of them spoiled our enjoyment.

Lovely house for family stay, or group of friends.

The property was spacious, bright and had a well appointed kitchen. It was very close to the bus stop and a Lidl.

The apartment is in a fantastic location and is very nice inside. Beds are very comfortable.

Location was excellent, within walking distance of Alnwick centre, castle and gardens

There is no parking, as described in the advert. There is a garage but no access to it & it is very tiny, if you have a smart car, you may get it in. We could not lock or open the front door from the outside. There was no instructions on how to work the central heating and the tap in the kitchen was very stiff to move. We rang the number given with the booking and spoke to a male who said he would send someone round the next day before 10 am. Nobody showed up, so we just had to put up with the central heating being hit and miss. We managed to get the tap to work but the tap itself was flimsy. The whole house creaked and everyone knew when one was up in the night to use the bathroom. All the doors need some WD40 on them and the floorboards need looking at. However, we did not let these issues spoil our stay.

Very good location but the apartment not as good as we expected

Location

Very squeaky floors & doors, dark passages by doors and in stairs well. Outdoor seating was right by a busy road. Top floor bathroom extremely cramped. No dishwasher tablets, no toilet roll in downstairs toilet. No WiFi code provided, we eventually found it on the router but extremely difficult to read due to the location of the router No indication of parking arrangements, and parking space very restricted. Lack of an information folder and user instructions for appliances.

Location was amazing and very comfortable house stay

Some of the amenities of the house could be better, particularly some kitchen items. We also thought that a welcome folder should be available with basic information such as WiFi code, local information etc! Black out blinds in the “kids” room would have have been preferable

Stunning property in perfect location for anyone wanting to explore and experience the beautiful Alnwick town

Beautiful property , lovely well designed rooms.

No clear instructions on where to park. We parked at the rear but if you have a larger car you feel like you could be blocking others people way ( I wasn’t but it’s a squeeze!)

Good stay.

Location was perfect.

It appeared that the cleaning was half done. The bedrooms and bathrooms were good. The kitchen however had food stuck to the tap handle, food around the oven and the floor was sticky. I cleaned it myself. The living room surfaces also weren’t wiped down, the coffee tables were sticky with a spilt drink. I wonder if it was rushed as the rest of the house was perfect. Noisy floors and doors!

Loved that each floor (there are 3) that there is a toilet on each floor. Perfect location to town centre. house had everything you could need, a great property.

only a very small irritation, in the top floor bathroom, would have been great to be able to open the skylight - it is so high, we tried everything, but could not manage it and a toilet roll in all bathrooms on arrival would have been great.

Very enjoyable.

Clean and comfortable, well equipped. Great location within easy walking distance to town centre.

Split level town house style separates the kitchen from the living area. Had to watch out for low ceilings in the bedrooms if getting up in the night, very minor so certainly wouldn’t put me off returning.
