Beautiful apartment, very comfortable with lovely views. Very spacious.

No where to hang coats. Difficult to regulate the water temperature in the ensuite shower, either boiling hot or cold!

Perfect accommodation for MacMillan Mighty Hike Northumberland Coast

Beautifully decorated, lots of lovely local touches as well. So well equipped, everything you could possibly need - the proper coffee machine was an amazing addition. Lots of books, jigsaw, local info, dvds, gadgets in the kitchen, I can't think of anything lacking at all.

We don't like strong perfumes and had to switch off all the plug in air fresheners as they were strong and I got headachy after a wee while but that was very personal to us. Other than that, not a thing we didn't like.

Very comfortable and clean with excellent facilities. The apartment is in a great location within walking distance to the castle and Centre of town.

Easy and comfortable in the centre of beautiful Alnwick

Location is amazing, the building is beautiful. Really spacious accomodation for our family of four. Very comfy beds.

The cleanliness could have been better in the kitchen in particular. The crockery and glasses and cutlery weren't clean and I felt I had to wash them before use and wipe down greasy surfaces.

Perfect for a weekend or longer break - for two couples or a family

Excellent location in the heart of Alnwick. Well-appointed appartment - warm, quiet, comfortable and very roomy. And very good value for money in the low season (early March, and Northumbria in the snow). Great to have secure parking, and easy to park close-by for free if you have more than one vehicle. Dirty Bottles pub 5-mins down the road - highly recommended for food and drink.

Fabulous apartment in a great location

Unfortunately dog hairs were found on both bathroom floors and in both showers, also lounge floors had not been swept as dog hair and crumbs were visibly noticeable. This let it down as everywhere else in the apt was immaculate and high spec. Maybe an oversight at the time of cleaning. However 9am vacation to 5pm access is a decent amount of time to complete to a good standard.

This is not particularly a criticism of the accommodation specifically but 5pm check in is too late, and 9am check out is too early- especially for shorter stays. I know this was introduced as part of the covid cleaning precautions by holiday letting companies, but about time this was reviewed. Especially considering we were asked to strip the beds. The en-suite bathroom, despite being well-appointed, obviously had a leak and needed attention.

It was a very late get in time of 5pm especially when the weather that day had been bad. We thought needing to leave the property at 9.00 was unreasonable for a holiday let. I think 10am would have been fairer for guests.

Exceptional, very comfortable and spacious, fabulous location and loved the secure parking.

We were self catering and the Apartment was very well equipped for all our needs and very convenient location.

I didn't receive the host's email on the day to give instructions for entry to the property. I was told later when I called the host, that the instructions were sent to me some days earlier but I couldn't find receipt of them in my emails. At booking in time I had to call to have another email sent to me with the details needed for entry to the property, these were sent to me and all was fine. Very helpful and efficient.

A delightful bolthole in amazing historic countryside

The apartment was in a great location and the secure parking was helpful as we had been travelling and had more bits in the car than we would normally.

Everything was very good but if anything bath sheets rather than the bath towels would have been more luxurious.
