A beautiful apartment with lots of character and colour, it felt very homely.
Lots of great facilities and was very spacious.
Suzy was a great host and checked in with us to make sure everything was okay.
Lovely touch of the individual gifts on arrival on theme with the apartment.
Main bedroom was very comfy.
The windows didn't open very far and it was a very hot weekend.
The sofa bed in the 2nd bedroom wasn't very comfortable and would be better as a proper bed to make better use of the room. ( This is personal preference).
There was no plug socket for one of the lamps in the main bedroom which was odd.
During our stay we did not sleep well due to the loud karaoke music, shouting and swearing customers of the pub across the road which happened every night until around 2am - this is by no fault of the owner and was likely bad luck being a bank holiday and should not impact other visitors views of booking to stay in the apartment. We have been assured by the owner that this usually doesn't happen in Alnwick.

Lovely quirky apartment right in the heart of Alnwick. Was dog friendly so that was great because our pooch could enjoy our holiday too.

We loved the quirkiness of this unique apartment, the splashes of colour made a real change. The location was absolutely excellent and no issues with parking. It was a bit noisy Saturday night but you are slap bang in the centre 🤷♀️🤣. The towels and bedding were lovely and clean, the bed very comfortable. It was excellent having a dishwasher as well, it was a real home from home. It was very warm and cosy. Suzy had thoughtfully left me a present for my birthday, plus one for my husband so he wouldn’t be left out!! I thought that was so very kind and neither of the books Suzy gifted us have been read by either of us ☺️.
Alnwick has a wide choice of excellent places to eat and pubs, or if you don’t want to go out to eat the takeaway around the corner was fantastic 👍..think it was called Royal something 🤷♀️🫣😬.
I did struggle slightly with getting in out of the bath to use the shower, there was no grab rail or slip mat.. so I just had to be cautious getting in and out.

Had such a happy stay with my friends. The property was immaculate. Superb location with free long stay parking close by. Comfortable bed, decent shower. Thoughtful touches, host left some coffee, milk, artisan biscuits and a book! Nice bakery across the road for a breakfast sandwich.
