The best stay in Puerto Angel, away from the mass touristic crowd

Beautifully located on top of the hill, but can reach the beach within 5 minutes. The owner, Mauricio is a great host, and let you feel home away from home. The swimming pool is great

We loved the welcoming staff, the location, the views and our time spent exploring the area. Some of the most beautiful beaches are nearby, and watching the fishing boats come in was so interesting

Terrible Expereince

Not what was expected at all. Failed to meet our expectations in every aspect. I reserved with breakfast, but it was served extremely late for our standards. Also, Casa Rush was not close to the beach, near a Fishing Port but not the same. It was difficult to find since there was NO sign indicating exact location. We were so disappointed that we left TWO DAYS early. Not recommended at all.

Just about everything. The only thing we liked was the pool. Having a comunal kitchen, refrigerator and utensils was not acceptable at all.

Totally recommend

Amazing big and spacious hotel. Very quiet and relaxing. On top of a hilll. One side of hotel with garden and pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The other side overlooking the smalll bay/beach in the quiet fishing village of Puerto Angel. We had a family room for 5. Plenty of space and very comfortable and clean. 5 minute walk on back path to village and swimming beach. Village is not built up for mass tourism. Nice and quiet and very laidback. Friendly and we felt safe walking at night. Really good and helpful communication with hotel owner Mauricio before and during our stay. He helped organize a boat and snorkelling trip where we saw turtles. Good breakfast with a good selection. A fridge available in kitchen. One of our favorite hotels in Mexico. We could have stayed longer than 3 nights.

Beautiful setting, with great scenery of the bay and the sea. Spacious accommodations, ample grounds to find your own private area. Rooms were well provisioned and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Just one issue that there was a power failure and it lasted overnight, it made the stay uncomfortable for that night,, otherwise it would have been a five star stay.

It appears that a little more foresight is needed to not have the power be turnoff and not have coffee for the morning one day.

Todo fue extraordinario. La vista, las habitaciones, la cocina, el comedor, la calidez del personal. Me hicieron sentir en casa. Me hicieron falta más días para seguir disfrutando.

Nos encantó el espacio y el ambiente, ideal para familias.

Desayuno excelente. Café, jugo, fruta, dos opciones a escoger según el día (chilaquiles/huevo cjamón/enfrijoladas/hotcakes). Lo servían a las 9 am, lo cual nos pareció un poco tarde, pero nos permitió disfrutar la alberca temprano. Nos encantó tener lista nuestra mesa para nosotros con letrerito. Nos gustó tener la llave de la puerta sobre la calle para entrar y salir a pie. La vista hermosa. La alberca nos encantó, especialmente a los niños. Había sombrillas y bolsas disponibles en préstamo para bajar a la playa. Había futbolito. El personal realmente muy amable. Instalaciones bien cuidadas, sencillas, sin lujos innecesarios. Para bajar a la playa hay muchos escalones, para los niños fue divertido pero para personas de edad o con alguna discapacidad puede ser complicado (bajar en coche). Excelente atención del gerente Mauricio siempre al pendiente por Whatsapp.

En ocasiones necesitábamos alguna cosa, y al haber poco personal, nos tardábamos en encontrarlos. Nuestra habitación estaba debajo de la terraza donde estaba el futbolito y era ruidoso por momentos. Habría sido útil que nos informaran con anticipación que no había restaurante o tienda disponibles cerca para comer o cenar, tienes que traer o salir a cenar al pueblo (nos habría venido bien una lista de opciones de dónde ir a comer/cenar).

Kameralny, urokliwy hotel

Wszystko było świetne - lokalizacja, czystość, Amanda, która opiekowała się hotelem podczas naszego pobytu. Z basenu jest niesamowity widok na ocean, palmy i wschód słońca. Śniadania dobre - dzień wcześniej obsługa daje kilka propozycji do wyboru i pyta na którą godzinę przygotować. Żałujemy, że byliśmy tu tylko dwie noce.

A place to spend some days and forget your worries

El lugar es espaecial por sus vistas , ademas su piscina y jacuzzi excelente . Desayuno es bueno cumple , iba inlcuido asi que No complains , la verdad me hubiera gustado quedarme mas dias y Puerto Angel y sus playas son lindas . Y OH thanks for the free beer , please tip the housekeeper at the end she is a great help . Thank you all .

La vista del lugar es espectacular, realmente se disfruta. La alberca está ubicada en un punto donde recibe sol durante todo el día, así que por la noche el agua se mantiene calientita, perfecta para relajarse y disfrutar aún más la experiencia.

El acceso puede ser complicado si llegas caminando. Nosotros fuimos en carro, así que no fue un gran problema, aunque al bajar al OXXO sí implicó bastante caminata. Aun así, se entiende, ya que al estar en una zona elevada, es precisamente lo que le da ese plus al lugar: una vista espectacular al mar.

La calidez con que te reciben es excelente. Muy buena señal de wifi, La alberca es preciosa por la noche se ve genial. Te facilitan el uso de la cocina y Amanda es super amable y trata de facilitarte el alojamiento.

Me decidí por este hotel porque tenía muy buenos comentarios, además de que en maps se ve prácticamente a pie de playa, pero literal está en la punta del cerro, eso nadie te lo dice. Para accesar si no traes vehículo, tienes que subir una calle super empinada y no es nada agradable, No tiene TV 🥺

Perfecto, super amable, la vista increible

Tuvimos una semana realmente increíble allí. La propiedad es enorme y preciosa. La vista es impresionante, vimos ballenas todos los días desde la piscina. La cama era gigante y la habitación estaba súper limpia. Pero lo mejor de todo fue la amabilidad del personal. Nos cuidaron maravillosamente desde el primer momento, había un desayuno mexicano auténtico todos los días (incluso podías elegir entre dos opciones). Amanda, Doña Lupe, Isabella y los demás son súper amables y lo hicieron todo genial. Mauricio (el dueño) casi todos los días preguntaba si todo estaba bien. Extendimos nuestra estancia de 2 noches a 7 porque fue tan maravilloso. Para relajarse, desconectar y dejarse llevar, absolutamente la mejor opción. Puerto Ángel es un pueblito pequeño con algunos restaurantes deliciosos. Desde allí se pueden hacer buenos excursiones (por ejemplo, a Mazunte, Zipolite, Huatulco). El aeropuerto está a solo 45 minutos del hotel.
