Double room was nice and comfortable
The kitchen an “resturant” were not good. Resturant was never opened and even when It was the staff was rude when asking if I could order so I jus didn’t, the common fridges to share are jam packed of rotten food you can’t use because of that.

Location, and the beds are comfy and spacious. The pool and bar is great
The price was extortionate compared to other places. Also sometimes the socializing was a bit cliquey compared to other hostels it's a bit "Instagrammy bro" and weren't interested in talking to you if you were a feminine pretty girl but I found my people who were lovely mainly Mexicans but my fellow Brits weren't very friendly

I had a lot of fun staying at this hostel and 10/10 recommend to stay for those traveling alone or in small groups to make new friends. Additionally, they came and cleaned our rooms daily. Very safe location, walkable to the beach and to restaurants nearby. Great staff, good food, fun vibes.

I had the best time at Che Hostel and I really recommend it! Overall for solo travelers
The staff were very friendly (all of them but I wanted to highlight Matt!). I also liked the rooftop with plenty of space to exercise or relax, the good vibes of the hostel in general and that it was very clean.
I didn’t like that sometimes we needed to wait to get the towels exchange and that there were not lots of food options or snacks. In terms of food there isn’t really much to choose from.

Nice place to chill and have a good stay in La Punta
Great hostel with nice vibe and a lot of chill areas. The staff is very friendly! La Punta is perfect because everything (eg restaurant, shops etc) are just around the corner. The rooms have a AC and van which is perfect.

Overpied but in a good loation.
The location is really good, right in the middle of La Punta. The private rooms are quite spacious with good A/C. The pool as well was dirty, never saw anyone cleaning it...
I know this is a party hostel (sort of) but there is a lot of noise. Not only from the music until 11pm every night but every morning from the construction sites around (not the Che's fault of course). But basically this means that your nights are short. The hot water in the shower isn't the best. The main thing however is value for money - it was super expensive. I changed accommodation after 5 nights (as was planned) and paid slightly more for a whole villa. The Che in Puerto Escondido is incredibly expensive. The staff as well - nice but not professionals and so the price is that of a pricey hotel but the service is far from it. That being said everyone was very nice.

Che Puerto Escondido has probably been my favourite hostel I’ve ever stayed in! From the best location and well thought out layout/fixtures to ensure a comfortable stay, to the phenomenal staff and amazing atmosphere - Che Puerto is really where it’s at. I initially booked for 8 days and ended up extending an additional 12 nights I’ve had that good a time. I particularly enjoyed chilling out on the open air rooftop space which had great views. Where you could also enjoy the complimentary workout classes and cook your own meal in the kitchen if wanted. Special mention to Anshelo on the front desk who couldn’t be more accommodating for any query’s and requests, as well as the chefs who put on put on a wonderful food offering (the Argentinian BBQ night is a must!). Will definitely be back 🤍✨

Che felt like home.
Oh Che, you’re one of a kind. This hostel felt like home just after a few days. Special thanks to Bruno, Alec and Claudia, who made sure to always feel included, taken care of and warm welcomed. I planned to stay just for one week and kept extending up to two weeks, cause I felt so comfortable and like home really.
It has a bit of a party hostel vibe. But you can escape it on the roof top easily and the rooms are well isolated as well.

Hostel with great vibes and fun activities, very close to the beach, yummy food and La Punta spots
Couldn't recommend Che enough for someone looking for a hostel with good vibes, great location to the beach and yummy food and fun spots in nearby La Punta (from delicious fish taco stands to Punta Vida Sunday BBQs on the beach). While there definitely is an opportunity to engage with the more party vibes and fun social and tour activities organised by the hostel and their tour partners, the dreamy pool area and the stunningggg terrace is also just an insanely nice and chill place to hang and do your own thing too, so you can engage as much or as little as you have capacity for.
There is also a co-working space if you wanna get your head down and the bathroom areas were reliably clean every day. They provide spacious individual lockers (and key) for your stuff and very comfy beds with plug sockets, a reading light and fan near your bed as well as both an AC and fans for the general room.
Really grateful for how lovely and friendly everyone was, from those who were staying there as well as the hostel team, who really go out of their way to give you a memorable experience. I loved that the hostel staff definitely felt majority Spanish-speakers (who also spoke good English if needed!) which made it feel more authentic overall, and big shout outs to Bruno for such an amazing bacacta class. True highlight! Having such great breakfast and brunch options (and cocktails!) from the hostel kitchen next to the pool really sealed the deal.
And you can access the other parts of Puerto Escondido easily via colectivo or taxi for really affordable prices – just ask at reception how to get one if in doubt. And if you wanna head to Mazunte or Zipolite, chances are someone else does too so don't be afraid to ask around. Big love to the Che crew, thanks for such an amazing time!
Not a massive con as I personally had a good time but there are a lot of social activities that involve drinking so do bear it in mind to keep within your own limits (as you should anywhere...).

Clean and nice
Clean and new. Very helpful staff. Lots of activities (beer pong, watching sunsets, happy hours etc.) but you don’t need to participate if you don’t want to, and they actually end the loud parties at reasonable time. Plus you don’t pay for the towel (there is just MXN 150 deposit).
Thumbs up for Che also for taking great care of their super cute kitten (most places in Puerto have cats/dogs/both but only the best ones really take care of them!!)

Nice and clean facilities
I stayed in the double room with a private shower. The windows were too small and there was no air in the room i felt like it was a prison cell. The staff is ok but not very friendly, it's too much of a commercial hostel so if you're looking for friendly local vibes it's not the right place. The music was too loud and basic, went all day. Not a place to chill.

It was an amazing hostel! My friend and I stayed in a private room - it was super nice. There were activities hosted everyday, the staff was really nice, we felt very welcomed and comfortable there.

The internet is bad; I had to go to a coffee shop to take meetings and work. They sell day passes, and the pool gets too crowded ruining the mood for the actual guests. There is only one spoon and two pans.

Awesome party Hostel in La Punta
Great Location. Staff and volunteers are friendly and relaxed. Pool Area and the sanitary facilities are great. Atmosphere is relaxed and social. It is easy to get to know people as a solo treveller.
It is a party hostel. Keep in mind that there can be loud music played until 11pm. Dorms are not isolated at all like you might know it from the fancy hostels in Asia. AC in the doorms is just turned at night from 09:00 pm until 08:00 pm. AC is set just at 24 degree, so it is still hot in the dorms at night. It is barely imposible to sleep bevor 12 pm since there people coming into the dorm all the time, leaving the door open, turn the light on etc.

The air conditioner didn't work at all, very hot inside the bedroom. They didn't care even when many people complained.
The blue eyed colombian girl at the front desk is very rude, she shouldn't work in a "hostel".
They say paying with card was "not working" only to make you pay cash, my card did work tho.
