Good room in an easy location to access beaches and central.

Clean, large room with a comfortable bed and all amenities you'd need for a stay. A good night's sleep.

The room has large patio doors onto the inner courtyard. Guess it's for light but there's no privacy unless curtains are closed. It's easily solved by drawing the curtains so not an issue, but an oddity to be aware of. This was a ground floor room, not sure what other floors are like.

Perfect accomodation, close to the best beaches (Playa Coral #1 IMO). Clean rooms, bathroom amenities, clean towels, perfect AC, TV, king size bed.

Pleasant stay in a central location

Clean, centrally located, walking distance to beach, good AC and wifi. Staff spoke only Spanish but were very accommodating and helpful. Excellent cafe right next door.

Very little space to store clothes in the room. If you travel very light it should be fine.

Great value, quiet guesthouse near to the beach

I've stayed several times at Carri Surf Studio. It's on a quiet road but very close to the main street where you can find excellent restaurants and bars, and also easy walking distance to Carizalillo beach. The rooms are adequately sized and the king-size bed is v comfortable. Staff are always v welcoming, there's a communal kitchen you can use and a roof terrace with sofas to hang out on. All in all, v good value for Puerto Escondido.

Great location near the beach!

Rogelio was so kind. We were a 5 minute walk to the stairs going down to Carrazalillo beach, which was great. Wonderful cafe next door for breakfast or lunch, and a great restaurant down the street for lunch or dinner (Rey Shaman, so delicious). Also, the bed was fairly comfortable and the rooms had great AC and a fridge. Pretty spacious. There was a big jug of bottled water downstairs for communal use in the kitchen, which was greatly appreciated.

Shower water pressure was meh, but that's not a huge deal.

Beautiful and comfortable room. The bed was very comfortable. Location was great a short walk to many shops, restaurants, and beaches.

Perfection location within La Rinconada! Great value for a spacious room, air conditioning and mini fridge. I also appreciated access to water refill and kitchen which came in handy to reheating my leftovers.

Comfortable stay in the center of Rinconada

Clean, comfortable, and unbeatable location within walking distance to the Rinconada center and Carazalillo beach. The staff are super friendly and accomodating too. Appreciated little details such as good quality toiletries and fluffy bath towels. They can give you a beach towel too if you need one. It's peaceful too.

Comfortable, clean, and good value for money. Rooms are a decent size, with fridge and ac (also a communal kitchen for use) as well as small wall TV. Five minutes walk from Carizalillo Beach and two mins from the best strip of restaurants in PE. Recommended.

Best sleep I’ve had in Mexico

I felt like I was in a 5 star hotel, best sleep I’ve had in Mexico so far! Huge bed with comfortable mattress and had a mix of pillows (hard and soft). The rooftop terrace I only discovered on my last day but sat up there reading a book until my late bus to Oaxaca. They also have hammocks up there! Great for sunset. Yes, the location is a little bit far away from the busier beaches, but you can swim at the one nearby and also learn to surf there. It’s only 5-6 minutes walk away. There is a great bakery in the Main Street, and right next door THE BEST cafe in the whole of Puerto Es. and English speaking too with English menu too. The lady that runs that cafe is super sweet! As a sooo female traveller that’s not so much into the party scene, this was absolutely perfect. Could not fault it. Will stay again for sure!

Lovely quiet place

A cosy family run hotel which is perfect is you’re looking for an affordable and quiet stay in puerto. Massive beds, towels and toiletries provided. A kitchen do if you want to prep some meals. Close to a few restaurants, bars and the best beaches in puerto.

Not much we didn’t like, although if you’re looking for a more lively area I’d suggest staying in La Punta as it’s a 15 minute taxi / 150 pesos away.

The wifi just didn’t work with any of our phones so had to use data. The fridge also made some loud noises in the night which woke us up a couple times. The towels were clean but had some stains on

Great location good and secure as doors locked at night, people were very friendly.

It would be good to have shampoo and shower gel in the shower. More hangers to hang things, access to an outdoor shower to wash off sand from the beach so that room was kept clear of sand. There was a shower at the entrance but the place was being painted so maybe this was why it was nt suggested to use it.

Great location, close to the beach and the street with restaurants and boutiques. The roof terrace is very nice, and the staff was very kind.

The room is quite bare, there should be at least one night lamp. The shower/water was good, but I hd to buy shampoo to wash my hair - they only provided soap. I also asked for ice but no such luck. The air conditioner did not work one night, and then worked again; maybe this was caused by a huge rainstorm.

The staff was spectacularly hospitable and genuinely nice people. Rogelio is the best and so is the nice woman tending to this studio.
