Nice Hostel near the beach

It was not too busy at the pool and quite in the night. I met a nice group of people the first evening at the introduction event. It was nice to have some exchange.

For a towel I had to pay 90 pesos extra. For the relatively high price for the night it should be included like it usually is. Also selling locks for the luggage locker is unnecessary. Just have a number lock on every locker instead of trying to charge extra for everything.

The pool area is nicd and the hostel offers lots of activities. It's also located pretty close to the beach.

The shower in my room and the oublic shower on bottom floor probably haven't been maintained in forever, so the water kinda goes everywhere with varying pressure. The AC is also turned off most of the dsy and only comes back in at 8pm, so the room is a sauna. There were also ants in the locker under my bed, so I probably have some guests in my backpack now.

The people were so nice! I got injured outside of the hostel and the staff was sooo helpful and kind. Very good place to meet people and make a group to plan activities together. Very clean and overall nice hostel. Always something to participate in.

great stay for little money!

Friendly staff, cool activities, nice travelers, rooms were cleaned daily, good spots to work at, great location and i felt very safe. The hostel feels very homey and people socialize around the pool a lot, great to meet people and connect! Would come back!

the lockers in the shared dorms are not easily accessible and the curtains on the bunk beds don’t black out the light so I recommend bringing a sleeping mask. Also the bunk beds are a bit shaky, so you hear it quite loudly when people move in their beds.

Nice pool, with a nice bar outside. I liked the quality of the hostel in based of the price. La Punta is surely the best area of Puerto Escondido.

Overall the stay was decent, I'd probably stay at another next time for a more social feel.

I had a private room for 2 nights in this hostel. The room was clean, bed was big, shower was hot and AC worked well. The hostel was well located and easy to reach from the airport with the collectivo for 100 pesos.

The social hour didn't happen when I was there, despite staff saying it would, which was really disappointing, as a solo traveler who picks hostels specifically to meet people. Compared to other hostel stays this was a bit more expensive, but overall it was fine for 2 nights.

A fun, comfortable stay with great people, strong Wi-Fi, and everything you need just steps away

This isn’t my first Viajero property, and it definitely won’t be my last. I originally booked for one night, ended up extending, and even returned after my first stay. The Puerto Escondido location is ideal - just a short walk from the beach and the main strip filled with restaurants. The staff were absolutely lovely and super helpful with all my questions. They organize fun daily activities and have a great happy hour. The coworking space was a standout with strong Starlink Wi-Fi and even an ocean view, which made working a pleasure. Once the restaurant reopened, the food was delicious and well priced. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely be back again. Shout out to Freddy, Richard, Becca, Denia and Cecilia - You guys were awesome.

The restaurant was initially closed during my stay, but once they brought in a new cook, dinner options were available and that wasn’t a problem. I do wish there was a bit more variety on the menu, especially for lunch. That said, breakfast is served until 2pm, which helps.

Super social but not crazy party vibe. The rooms have AC between 9pm and 9am which is a must. Beds have curtains and light+wall socket that actually work and ensuite bathroom. Food from kitchen great value and the bar is also great. Pool is a necessity as well. There is co working spaces and a decent kitchen. Overall a fantastic hostel

Good overall, especially for the price

Great value. Beds were comfortable and clean. Guests were friendly. Drinking water dispensers available. Reliable AC at night (if anything it was too cool in the rooms).

The beds in the shared rooms were a little squeaky. I could hear people climb into their beds or roll in their sleep.

Great value for money

I stayed at this hostel for almost two weeks and really enjoyed my time there. The facilities are excellent – the beds are very comfortable, there's a clean and spacious kitchen, a nice swimming pool with a bar/restaurant and a really nice rooftop terrace with a yoga area, free coffee and cold drinking water available all day. The atmosphere is relaxed and there are daily social activities for those who are interested. I also appreciated the friendly reception team – Denia, Ceci, Cassandra, Mayra, and Maya – who were always around to help with whatever I needed. Great place to stay if you're looking for comfort and good amenities in a laid-back environment.

I really enjoyed my stay here, it was supposed to be 4 days and I ended up staying more than one week. The room was clean and the swimming pool an amazing place to meet new people. More importantly the staff was great to make this hostel really cool.

The place is great. Great vibes, comfortable and with a very nice and comfy co-working space in the terrace. The staff is amazing — specially Madrid, Gonza and Jake who all were always making sure everyone had a good time. They organize nights out and show you around the best of Puerto. Will definitely come back.
