Absolutely worth the money

Located right on the beach, lovely clean and comfortable dorm with Aircon. Roof terrace from where you can see the whole beach and islands. But the best thing about staying here was how lovely all the staff are - really friendly and helpful. Suggested great place to eat. Looked after my bags after checkout and let me use the showers in the afternoon.

Friendly, clean, and great location.

Location right on the beach, with a rooftop space with room for exercising, yoga, etc. and good sunset views. Staff very friendly & helpful - a special shout out to Tatiana for going above & beyond to help with a bus issue I had.

A little pricier than hostels in some other areas, but it's just a more expensive beach to stay on, and it was nice to have a dorm option.

You can’t find a better place to stay in Zipolite

Perfect location! Right at the beach; beach beds available for your use. Black Mamba Beach Club serves fantastic food. The entrance to the hostel is leading to the main street with cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops, yet you don’t hear any noise. All employees are hard working, pleasant, and helpful.

Great location. Have a beach club in front of the hotel. Dorm of 4 are perfect and comfy. Activities are great ! Free yoga classes on the terrace with an amazing view for sunset !

Good location

Decent place — attentive staff, comfy bed, AC, clean bathrooms, right on the beach, and the terrace with an ocean view is amazing. Also the bienvenido drink was a nice touch.

The only downside was the kitchen — pretty disappointing: lots of flies, bad smell, and not very clean. It definitely needs a good cleaning. Also, having a bit more dishes would help. Overall, it was okay.

Comfy stay right on the beach

Great location right on the beach. Beds were comfy, great to have a lamp, good sized shelf and several power outlets by each bed, as well as privacy curtains. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Good shower pressures and hot water. I appreciated being able to shower in the communal bathrooms after I had already checked out.

Because it’s a beach club, it doesn’t have the traditional hostel vibe. There weren’t many people in the common areas. That being said, I was only there for one night.

Top of my budget but worth it for a few nights for the experience

Right on the beach. Bunk beds have privacy curtains. Welcome drink. Drinking water. AC and fans. Hammocks everywhere. WhatsApp group. Designated lockers big enough for backpacker packs. Female dorms.

Internet isn’t great and shower doesn’t get very hot.

The room was nice, they give you a free drink and you can get it at the bar. The food was really good. The shrimp tacos are delicious. I love they always helpful and trying to give you the best. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Perfect location. Comfy beds with light, curtain and socket. En suit bathroom was big and modern. The hostel is right on the beach and minute from all the bars and restaurants.

Each bed in the dorm had its own locker, a fan, a night light, and an electrical outlet. The beds were comfortable, staff was great. Free yoga class with Yasmir was a bonus!

Amazing find in Zipolite!

AUGUSTINE and his amazing team are the best! The property is recently renovated and my terrace suite, King 2, was TERRIFIC! This place is part hostal, part hotel, and PURE FUN! I recommend it highly! #travellikeandy

The location and the view from the balcony are to die for. Lying in the hammock watching the world go by day and night is sublime.

Noisy and nasty. Half constructed.

Vulgar music early in the morning. DO NOT GET THE ROOM UNDERNEATH THE BAR! You won’t be able to sleep. No curtains in the windows so be prepared for a harsh awakening by the intense light in this part of the world and the noise of the vulgar loud music early in the morning. No complementary shampoo or soap(bring your own) No HOT water. The cold water that they had wasn’t clear and had a metallic taste to it, not to mention an odor. YUK!! The hotel still in construction so lots of construction noises during the day and no privacy with the glass door to enter the room not to mention secure enough to leave your valuables. NOT WORTH THE PRICE they asked considering that Booking.com quoted me one price and once i was at the property ready to pay they cranked up the price for about another 100 more than was NOT agreed on the app. It was such a bad experience that i tried to leave that weekend but everything was full in other hotels near by plus they threatened me about the 24 hour cancellation penalty so as soon as i found another place to stay i wast out of that noisy nasty place.

Beautiful view and room, I was very pleased.

Fantastic location and I managed to luck out and get the king suite overlooking the beach with a private balcony which was stunning. Sunrise to my left, sunset to my right, all from the view of my own hammock. Crazy beautiful. Mostly nice staff too.

i'm conflicted about writing this, but think it's better to state it so no one is surprised. The shower is run by a rope pull handle, so you have to pull the rope the whole time to get running water. The water is heated by the sun, so no heat means no hot water. The hotel is renovating at the moment, so there's a little noise but to be fair they kept it very minimal compared to what I've experienced for renovations elsewhere. None of it was a big deal, it's just better to be stated than not. Also, stating purely for inclusivity, accessibility would be a struggle here for those in a wheelchair or crutches. You'd definitely need considerable assistance if you decided to book here. Other than that, able bodied folks will be fine.

Mi lugar favorito de Zipolite frente a la playa!

Ya me había quedado antes en CHE Hostel y sin duda a mi regreso à Zipolite me hospedé de nuevo con ellos. La ubicación es excepcional frente a la playa, el dormitorio muy cómodo, los baños y cocina súper accesibles. La atenciòn del Persona es fantástica, siempre te atienden con una sonrisa y son la buena vibra. Comida de restaurante 10/10.

La ubicación es maravillosa y el cuarto y el lugar son muy lindos, la relación precio-lugar es increíble.

El restaurante tiene opciones limitadas de alimentos. Y el Internet sólo funciona en algunos lugares. Pero igual nos fue muy bien, queríamos desconectarnos y lo logramos.

Maravillosa estancia

Me encantó la atención por parte del personal del lugar, desde el momento de la reservación estuvieron super atentos, hasta el momento de mi llegada. El lugar esta espectacular, con unas vistas al mar que te dejan maravillada, cabe destacar que esta playa en particular no es para nadar por el oleaje que tiene, aunque si hay personas que lo hacen, el personal del hostal si nos advirtió que es peligroso. El lugar se encuentra en una playa nudista, por lo cual si tienes prejuicios o los dejas a un lado o mejor no te hospedas aquí!! En lo personal me encanto la habitación que solicite, una cama deliciosa, super amplia, cómoda y muy agradable para descansar.

Esto no tiene que ver con el hostal, porque yo fui la que tomo la elección y me equivoque, pero es importante destacar que para llegar al lugar, se tiene que hacer por taxi o si traes vehículo en mi caso no fue así y fue un poco caro llegar y salir del lugar.

Super ubicación.

Me hospedé en habitación privada. La vista al mar desde la habitación y la terraza es increíble. Tiene cortinas black out por si quieres bloquear la luz. La habitación es espaciosa, suficiente para 2 personas. La cama es cómoda. La ubicación es perfecta. Hay una terraza en el segundo piso, por las tardes suele haber clases de Yoga para admirar el atardecer. Hay una cocina pequeña, básica, pero suficiente para preparar/guardar alimentos. El precio es super accesible, definitivamente regresaría. La atención es buena, las chicas explican y solucionan dudas con amabilidad.

Octubre 2025. Están remodelando algunas zonas por lo que es común ver espacios con material de construcción (arena, brava, cemento) personal trabajando y áreas provisionales (recepción).

Mangiare, cockails, pulizia delle camere, tutto perfetto! Lo staff incredibile! Molto disponibili e sorridenti! E di compagnia oltretutto! Avendo a disposizione una cucina per tutto l ostello ci si incontra spesso li e si condividono esperienze, cibo e tanto altro! Per non parlare del fatto che si trova di fronte al mare e che forse si tratta dell ostello piu economico a zipolite!

La atención que brinda Jerica fue muy amable y me facilitó mi check in y check out. Cerca de todo y bastante cómodo y fresco.

No me permitieron utilizar camastros, pese a que estaban desocupados, me indicaron consumo mínimo de 500 pesos aun siendo huésped, lo que no se me hace lógico.

Excelente opción para disfrutar Zipolite

Las habitaciones super amplias y limpias , con aire acondicionado y camas super cómodas. Tuvimos acceso a un balcon que daba directo a la playa lo cual nos encanto!! La atención de Amir fue de mucha ayuda , desde el principio fue muy agradable y nos hizo sentir muy cómodas . Sin duda recomiendo este hotel como una de las mejores opciones para visitar Zipolite , esta a pie de playa y a pasos de la calle principal y todas las tienditas y restaurantes.

El hotel cuenta con algunas areas comunes como cocina y co-working pero el beach club se maneja aparte por lo que hay q pagar para ocupar los camastros lo cual no nos gusto mucho ya que si vas a un hotel a pie de playa este servicio debería estar incluido.
