The house was perfect for our family of 7 and had everything we needed. The location was perfect in a quiet area and a short walk into York.

Four bedrooms, excellent for a large group. Close to the bus station and shops.
Cleanliness. One proper bathroom for a large group is not enough.

Spacious rooms and great location. Easy to get out of the city but also only a short bus journey to get in to city centre. Shower was great and both bathrooms were very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with all the basics needed for cooking as well as bowls/plates and cups for children which was great for us.
Some issues with cleaning (under sofas/lampshades) but main areas were very clean just felt those less obvious areas were overlooked. Beds were very firm so unfortunately didn't sleep very well. Really need new mattresses or at least a topper so not as hard. Gardens need tending to (lots of weeds). Also driveway hard to get in to with bushes and bins. Bushes need cutting back and alternative location for bins. Could of done with more Dishwasher tabs. 2 tabs for a week stay wasn't near enough.

The property was beautifully presented and had everything we needed.
Garden would benefit from some maintenance. However, it was lovely to be able to sit outside.
