Perfect stay in York

The property was the perfect location to walk into York to visit the tourist attractions. We were visiting as 2 families with children, the house was a perfect size for us.

Would give an 11/10. The property is absolutely fantastic. So clean, relaxing and all necessities for kitchen and bathrooms provided. Would say a 10 minute walk from the City Centre.

Fabulous family accommodation close to centre

Plenty of room for our family of 7. Good instructions on where to find bedding for sofa bed. It was great to have parking at the property. Communication with host was excellent. Beds were comfortable with nice linen and bath towels excellent.

Absolutely recommended house for a York Trip!

Spacious and well equipped, located well and suited a girls trip to races a treat !

7 girls getting ready for races and only one full stand in shower, other bathroom was a bath with tap hose attached, no shower screen, tricky but manageable.

Brilliant location..15 min walk into York/Minster, brilliant house size and layout

How close it was to a park for the kids,close to York so we didn't use the car once,good for walks by the river. Spacious house, felt like a lovely home rather than anything too stagedas a holiday cottage.

Minor point,a shower screen or curtain would've been useful inthe mainbathroom,but that is being v picky just to answer this question!!!

When we arrived the house was warm and the host very helpful. It has everything you need and more for your stay. The beds are very comfy. The property is in an excellent location for sightseeing central York and parking for two cars.

The property could do with another shower. Although there is a bathroom with a hand held shower. The shower in the en-suite is the only stand in and the cubicle is quite small. This is the only negative but it wouldn’t stop me going again or recommending the property.

Fabulous house in a great location

We stayed as a group of five for two nights for York races. This is a beautiful property, with everything you need for a really comfortable stay. The kitchen is well equipped and the welcome pack which included milk was a bonus. There was also ample cleaning products as well which is unusual for rental properties. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and everyone had a good nights sleep including the person sleeping on the sofa bed. Communication with the host was very helpful and the property itself was easy to find. I would highly recommend to others.

The house was quite close from the city centre, like 15 min walk to the York Minster. It was quiet, comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay there again.

Easy check in & out. Not far from city centre. Happily provided good quality highchair and travel cot for our little lady, which was greatly appreciated. :) Spacious and well decorated.

We think a full sized ironing board may be more practical and toilet seats didn’t seem to fit properly. On reflection, we thought it was a little expensive too but this may have been because of the York races?

A great little home away from home! location was great as only a few minutes from most places, host was lovely and very accommodating. Beds were really comfortable.

The only negative was the main shower is a little small.

2 night stay with extended family

The house was in a good location and a good size for 7 of us. The instructions for entry and departure were nice and clear. The bottle of wine went down well!

The kitchen floor was very sticky, such so, that the strap on my flip flip broke! Would have preferred locks on the doors of the toilet/bathrooms.

Modern, comfy, clean and well equipped...all that you could need.

The amount of space for 4 or 5 people is great, and the outside space is lovely for a glass of wine to unwind. The house was super clean, the beds very comfortable, and the house equipped with all that we needed. Jo was also speedy in replying to messages and very accommodating around our questions and requests. Thanks for a relaxed and comfortable stay.

The sofas could be a little more squishy (hardly a problem though!).

La maison était tout simplement parfaite! Nous étions deux familles et les 3 chambres, deux salles de bain et 3 toilettes nous avons accordé assez de place et de confort. Les lits étaient super comfortable, la maison bien chauffée, et super bien équipée.... tout cela à walking distance du centre ville! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir - merci à Jo et Alistair pour un excellent séjour, très bien organisé et qui nous a permet de passer un super weekend à York! Que des bon souvenirs! Merci!

Es un alojamiento muy completo, bien equipado, en buen estado y limpio. La ubicación es muy apropiada, nosotros nos movimos en vehículo y el estacionamiento disponible en el alojamiento fue muy útil.

Excelente. El jardín podría estar más agradable, pero creo sería solo un plus, en si el sitio es muy cómodo.
