Perfect!

It was so quiet we hardly heard anyone. The staff was there when we needed them didn’t bother us when we didn’t. Dinner was delicious very flavorful and a good variety. The weight staff was also good and obviously the chef for creating such good meals.

Great hotel!

What a beautiful place, nicely renovated into a luxury hotel, but without the extortionate price tag! Lots of history and quirky rooms to enjoy. Good games room and lounge area's. Lovely garden, quiet location. Welcome drink on arrival, was a nice touch! Food in restaurant was excellent.

Walls between the next door room in the bathroom was really thin and you could hear the neighbours as if they were in the same room! As it was only the bathroom it wasn't an issue.

Small action points

The renovation from Mariagarde which we had both attended for courses 30 years ago is impressive. Rome wasn't built in a day so we wish you well in further improvements to graduate to 4 star.

Small points but if nobody mentions nothing changes: 1) Light in room 109 shower needs a bulb change 2) People struggle to find a normal coffee in the breakfast room as the only labels are "Coffee créma" and "cappuccino". Each working knob should have a label.

Beautiful location and accommodation will be excellent once all the work is finished correctly.

The situation and gardens were outstanding.

In our accommodation the new bathroom had no shelf or table to lay our toiletries on. Only the floor. Our key card to enter our room was cut off too early on our last day and there was no one at reception to help us. After 10 minutes found a workman who opened our door.

A magical location but serious teething problems in terms of service.

This is a hotel with enormous potential but currently running with some serious problems. The positives: location is really fabulous, the bed was very comfortable with quality bedding and the breakfast was varied and tasty.

We were in an attic room with one tiny window and no airconditioning - it was very hot!! I suspect somewhere around 28/29 degrees in the room and even hotter in the bathroom. To the credit of the staff we were provided a fan when asked. Still, we woke up seriously dehydrated after struggling to get to sleep at all. The other problem is with restaurant - the service was chaotic (to say the least!) with no apparent system and the staff were understandably stressed.

Breakfast is good. The location better ride with An auto it's easy to find. The garden and terrace is nice. We eat in the evening at the terrace where its so romantic at the garden . The people are friendly and accomodatig.

The surroundings and property were stunning to look at, very grand but without the grand price tag

Only downside was lacking staff, too a while to find someone to check us in to the room and had to hunt for a person, however, the staff we did see were very friendly and most helpful

Ein romantisches Wochenende zu bezahlbaren Preisen in einem außergewöhnlichen Gemäuer

Die Übernachtung in einem Schloss ist außergewöhnlich und man fühlt sich in eine andere Zeit versetzt. Das Personal war super hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend und hat auf Belange umgehend reagiert und gehandelt, obwohl das Hotel an dem Wochenende ausgebucht war. Auch unser Hund wurde herzlich empfangen und mit Leckerlies verwöhnt.

Bei der Zimmergestaltung ist noch Luft nach oben (mehr Liebe zum Detail) und auch im Restaurant gibt es Kleinigkeiten, die man optimieren könnte. Aber insgesamt passt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Het ontbijt was fantastisch, het diner was uitstekend met vriendelijke bediening. Mooi park met standbeelden rondom het kasteel was zeker de moeite... ..

De bar viel een beetje tegen omdat ze niet voorzien was voor een groter gezelschap .

Kasteelwaardig

Het indrukwekkend en prachtig kasteel evenals het vriendelijke en behulpzaam personeel. Inrichting van de kamer is dan wel verouderd maar beschikt wel over zeer goede bedden en matrassen.

Kamers zijn verouderd en aan vernieuwing toe.. vooral de vloerbedekking. Overal ligt vol tapijt (gang en kamers) en voor veel mensen met allergie is dit geen optie. Alhoewel voor wie van vergane glorie (oude kastelen) houdt die oude meubels misschien net een pluspunt zijn.

Een schot in de roos.

Uitstap met onze kleindochter. Ze had dat nog tegoed van haar lentefeest. Zij was helemaal weg van de locatie. Wij hebben zeer lekker gegeten in de bistro van het hotel. Zeer fijne ontvangst en een leuke bediening. Het ontbijt was aan een grote familietafel en dat was ook fijn. Kennis maken met andere gasten is altijd een beleving. Kortom, het was voor ons en onze kleindochter een schot in de roos.

Rioollucht in kamer en water wat niet goed wegloopt uit e douche( alles blank)

de spaghetti was goed en ontbijt redelijk.

Kamer stinkt naar RIOOL-lucht. Daarna een andere kamer en die douche loopt over en het water loopt bijna de slaapkamer in ( alles blank). Bij de balie " Ring Bell for service" echter 20 minuten wachten kwam niemand.

Veel lawaai meermaals in de nacht door andere personen maar ook door een motor/generator die af en toe aan gaat. Brasserie is meer een soort kantine met jobstudenten. Lounge en bar zijn een ruimte met zetels, geen barman, weinig gezelligheid.

- kostenlose Parkplätze direkt an der Unterkunft - von außen sehr schön und imposant - ruhige Lage - ein später Check-in (nach 22 Uhr) war möglich

- sehr kleine, veraltete, renovierungsbedürftige Zimmer - sehr hellhörig - ziemlich harte Betten - das Frühstück war in Ordnung und es gab eine gute Auswahl, trotz Aufbackbrötchen - wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Badewanne gebucht, aber leider vor Ort erfahren, dass keins mehr zur Verfügung steht. - Personal macht unterschiedliche Angaben: uns wurde gesagt, dass das Frühstück bis 10:30 Uhr geht. Als wir um kurz nach 10 Uhr zum Frühstücksraum gingen, sagte man uns, dass das Frühstück nur bis 10 Uhr geht.

De stille omgeving

Het ontvangst, geen info gekregen over het ontbijt waardoor we rond 8u smorgens letterlijk moesten gaan zoeken waar de ontbijtruimte was. Toen we deze dan uiteindelijk gevonden hadden moesten we op eigen houtje door de keuken gaan om deze ruimte te betreden...Niemand aan de receptie bij vertrek.

Zonde van het geld

Het is een mooie ligging

Ik en mijn dochtertje van 8 jaar kregen een kamer op de derde verdieping. Je zag dat het een gang was waar er allemaal nieuwe kamers gemaakt waren. De kamers waren klein maar wel mooi en aangenaam vernieuwd. Pas toen de gasten in de kamer naast ons om 21u45 toekwamen in hun kamer merkte ik dat het een moeilijke nacht ging worden. De muren waren zo dun we konden alles horen. We konden ze horen praten, lachen zelfs de meldingen die binnen kwamen op hun telefoon konden we horen. Toen mijn dochtertje op 22u30 nog steeds niet kon slapen door het lawaai ben ik gaan vragen of ze een beetje stiller konden zijn zodat mijn dochtertje kon slapen. Ze is daarna gelukkig in slaap gevallen want het koppel naast ons is dan begonnen met hun vrijpartij en je kon gewoon ALLES horen. Dit heeft geduurd tot 2u30. Ik ben dan even in slaap kunnen vallen maar dan liep er ineens om 3u30 een ander koppel in de gang heel luid te praten en te lachen waardoor ik en mijn dochtertje terug wakker geschoten zijn en toen het terug stil was merkten we dat we de buurman constant hoorden snurken. Van pure wanhoop omdat mijn dochter en ik onmogelijk terug in slaap konden geraken heb ik om 4u ‘s nachts mijn spullen en mijn dochter gepakt en zijn we terug naar huis gereden naar de kust. Er was ook niemand aan de receptie om het aan te melden.

Badkamer erg klein, zeep die hangde aan de lavabo lekte waardoor de badkamer vloer vuil was. weinig ruimte tussen bed en tv aan de muur waardoor je er steeds bijna tegen liep.

Fantastisk å overnatte på et slott der historien sitter i veggene. Deilig mat i restauranten om kvelden og nydelig frokost. Stille og rolig med nydelig hage. Vi ble møtt med cave ved innsjekking. Hyggelig personell.

Attention escroquerie

Les rares personnes qui ont fait l'effort de parler Français à 10 min de la "frontière" flamande wallonne le cadre est apaisant

Apprendre après notre départ que nous devions apporter notre aspirateur pour les poils de nos chiens. Sachant que le supplément pour nos chiens était de 45€/nuit. Appel téléphonique d'une grande mauvaise foi ! Faites des photos en entrant dans les lieux et en quittant votre chambre. Heureusement que le cadre est apaisant.
