Not a good experience especially for a 5 star hotel

I liked that it was clean and most of the personnel were nice and helpful

The ventilation system did not work properly. I was cold the first 24 hours and when we sat it couldn’t be fixed it took very long to change rooms. Dyson was provided but without remote so I could not really accommodate myself! Second there was a conference and all the common spaces were really loud and full of people making it impossible to use them

Perfect short stay; very clean, comfortable, friendly staff, close to public transport.

The room was lovely and ideal for two people. It was very clean and well maintained, with Molton Brown amenities, which was a great touch. The room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and sheets changed every day. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of both the bus stop and the metro station. Breakfast was great; we especially enjoyed the New Year’s breakfast with champagne. The staff were extremely helpful, polite, and very welcoming.

The most perfect stay I’ve ever had! From first walking into the hotel I was shocked with how beautiful it was! The hotel was super clean and perfect for any occasion stay. My partner was super happy they had a gym he could use! The location was perfect for walking into the downtown of Brussels, the hotel was so beautiful and posh, at first I felt like I walked into the Hamptons! Especially at Christmas time it was so lovely decorated! The staff was super friendly and willing to do anything for you! The room was absolutely perfect, best sleep I’ve ever had , the bed was so comfy and the bath was so relaxing to lay in! This was by far the most incredible hotel I have ever stayed in! I cannot wait to come back!

Lovely Brussels hotel

Room was lovely, good size with all amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was good and close to public transport links and restaurants.

Hot water in the shower took too long to come through (over 5 minutes) and the closure of the restaurant at the weekend meant the room service options were severely limited which wasn’t explained on check in.

The staff was friendly and helpful

Te cost of the restaurant was very expensive. Being in the business district most of the restaurants in the district were closed all weekend. It was difficult to find a place to eat breakfast or dinner. There was a lot of garbage on the street and across the street from the hôtel.

Comfortable stay

Property was well situated that you were far enough from the main tourist spots that allowed for more a chill local vibe but close enough that within minutes you were in the hustle and bustle of it all. Staff were extremely friendly and the hotel itself was very cute. It is an older antique style but it works! The bed linens and towels were spotless, which is super important! Did not find even a single hair on the bed sheets.

Could do better with cleaning the rooms. It looks clean but as you go looking into the corners, it’s very dusty and washroom could be cleaned better. Other than that, it was a great stay for a decent price.

Disappointment ! We had stayed several times long time ago and it is sad to see another special property lose its touch!

The story behind the building.

One part of the property is in construction and this is not stated on the website!!! There was no vale for the luggage nor parking! The lift to the garage was filthy with workers and construction . The water running in the tub was full of rust ! We requested the first day to meet with the general manager to give him feedback . We stayed for 5 days and his assistant called the last day and we could not finally meet him...

Reflecting the country's history in one hotel.

Beautiful hotel, interior and design with notes of the country's history, tradition and culture of Belgium. We didn't have time to visit the museums, this hotel gave us enough information about the country. Very responsive staff and we were helped both at check-in and check-out. The location is on a quiet street, walking distance to the places we wanted to visit at Parliament Square.

An enjoyable stay in friendly and comfortable surroundings.

Virtually everything went well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable, if a little expensive. I was appreciative of the English TV channels.

There were no English Breakfast tea bags in the bedroom, only Earl Grey and Green Tea. Neither of these are widely drunk in the UK. Most English people drink English Breakfast tea, or its equivalent. I don't take milk in my tea but most English people do. There was only 'cream' in the room - cream is never taken with tea. A few cartons of milk would be appreciated by English guests. Re: breakfast - very nice, though I am not fond of the 'slimy/creamy' scrambled egg - I prefer scrambled egg well cooked and firm.

Short trip to Brussels

Very comfortable room and bed with exceptional cleanliness. Couldn't have the breakfast but the staff offered to hand me something as i had an early morning flight.
