Stanhope Hotel by Thon Hotels

We stayed in the 2-br apartment for a family of 5 with two big teens and a kid. Spacious, comfortable, one bathroom with one shower and a toilet room. They set up two twin beds in the living room for the younger ones and it was just perfect. The shared washer/dryer combo is in the basement. Comfy beds, quiet street, near the EU and a short walk to the shops and center. The people working here is the best about this hotel.

Good location for my purpose with the visit. Nice breakfast and generally a quiet atmosphere, I like the feeling of a small, almost family-run, hotel.

Would have been excellent if breakfast was served a bit later even during weekdays.

What we liked most was the very spacious apartment, with effective air conditioning in every room, a pleasant terrace, and a nice neighbourhood. We also appreciated the self-locking door, the physical keys, and the well-equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher. Many reviewers mentioned problems with the self-check-in, but we did not experience any difficulties. Just make sure your phone is charged and that mobile data and location services are enabled.

For a week's stay only limited quantities of liquid soap, shower gel, and coffee were provided. We also missed a rack for drying our clothes and towels. Although we received friendly automated welcome messages and other pre-written information from a company, our practical enquiries (supply of additional shampoo and soap) were not resolved. In spite of this, we recommend the apartment, and I am sure that the company will improve their services for future visits.
