B&B HOTEL Brussels Centre Louise

Not much this time; it was my 4th time at this hotel probably. Other times were ok, but this time was a bit of a disaster...

The first bad point was that I had a cold shower. I checked in late evening, and nobody told me that there was a problem with the hot water. As soon as I entered the room, I went to have a shower. I waited for a few minutes and then it was clear that there was no hot water coming, and had to take a cold shower. I went back to the guy who checked me in, and asked him why he didn't tell me that there was no hot water. The excuse was that he didn't know whether it was already fixed, while it was clear from the crew that they were still working on it. I was really upset as he could have warned me that there was a problem and he wasn't sure whether it was fixed. The other bad point was that one of the guys at the reception was rude. My luggage did not arrive as planned and I asked for some help to call the call centre. Before that I called myself without success. Apparently, the automatic system had an option in French which had more chances to get an answer, as in English the line was dropped after one minute or so. The other guy in the reception called the French number a couple of times. While he was waiting (hearing the waiting music) I asked him, where I could buy some clothes as it became clear that my luggage won't come for a second night, and it was already quite late (around 19:00). He was so rude and said something like "I can't hear (i.e. the music, while waiting) on the phone and talk to you at the same time!" Initially, I didn't say anything, but after he continued in the same attitude, I told him that it's not rocket science to hear the music with one ear and talk to me using the other...Anyway, he hung up and gave me the information that I needed. And I barely managed to get some underwear and clothes in time (there was only one shop open so late and I had to dash to make it). When I came back, I asked whether they had any news and of course they said no (not sure if they bothered calling again...).

Very quirky funky look as soon as you walk in the front door as we're the bedrooms. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Great place to stay. Nice cozy rooms & very kind staff. Especially Mr. Eric was super nice.

Location is good enough close to shops and bus stop. We all liked the breakfast. I liked mushrooms, coffee, and scrambled egg. Thank you so much for everything, Hotel is so clean and so cute.

Some things could be improved - we didn’t know there was a particular way of using electricity in the room so we didn’t have light nor plugs on the first night. Would be useful to give those instructions uppon arrival. Also, the deposit seemed like an unneccessary complication (my friend gave it and to be refunded they needed her cards but she left earlier so we had to resolve that which took time and effort)

Clean and good location, a little bit far from city center but very valuable. Very quiet place.

Once we arrived, the air conditioning was broken and did not work properly but they brought us a fan, in general I satisfied with experience

A bigger table to work on would have been nice

The room was pretty and clean. Also the location of hotel was great. Breakfast was really good.

Unfortunately we experienced really unpleasant situation. We left our room in the morning and after all day outside we came back to open room - doors were open, lights on… The cleaning lady forgot to lock the door after cleaning and left it open all afternoon or day, we don’t know. We were lucky, since our stuff was there. The solution of this situation was absolutely inadequate - they just offer us free drinks and even if they promised to keep in touch, they never really did. Also what’s funny to me - I have to pay 150 euros deposit, it’s three days after our check-out and I still didn’t receive this money back even if only problem was on their side, not ours. After this experience I think they should be more concerned about their services and workers.

The beds were so comfortable. The coffee stations on every floor were wonderful. The staff were kind and helpful.

The distance from Grand Place is about a twenty minute walk. For the value of the hotel- it’s totally worth it- but we did not consider very cold temps in July.

Nice bar area loads of space and seating available. Reasonably priced drinks. Quirky decor. Comfy big bed in the room and a good power shower.

The room was very small. No where to sit bags apart from in the floor and not enough room to hang long items of clothes. No where to sit apart from the bed which could only be accessed from 1 side. No fridge provided. Cinema also wasnt working :(

I loved the location. Though it wasn’t central there are plenty of restaurants and stores to visit in the area. The room was also very spacious and very well decorated. I also liked that you could connect YouTube and Spotify to the tv.

The bed was the hardest bed that I’ve had the misfortune of sleeping on. It basically felt like sleeping on the floor and I woke up every day in so much pain. Combined with the lack of air conditioning it wasn’t a very comfortable stay over all. The was just a fan ventilation system and it just wasn’t enough to cook down the room.

The rooms have a quirky design and the gym is very clean and well equipped.

The only snacks one can purchase from the front desk are chips and the hotel is good 10 minutes walk to the closest metro station. The TV is very strangely positioned, attached to the bed with a metal pole. I had the feeling my feet would poke through it.

The location is a bit far from public transportation

the property was amazing, the room was very spacious. The location was close to the metro so was easy to get to the main center as well as the train station to catch the bus too and from the airport.

The breakfast on a whole was good but could’ve done with some extra meat options like sausages (and bacon wasn’t available on the final day) all continental offerings were great.

The decor was cheerful and the hotel was clean.

I felt as though the staff immediately dismissed the option of checking in any earlier. I travel a lot, and most hotels will at least play it by ear and give you some leeway, but this hotel, as soon as we arrived, which was really early in the morning said it was an absolute no, and that we should come back at, 3 o’clock, which is quite late for check-in.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The location was fantastic and the facilities of the hotel were great.

Our room wasn’t cleaned one day. However, the reception staff were kind off enough to offer a EUR 5 voucher as compensation.

Great location, comfortable bed, good bathroom, helpful staff, a machine producing freshly ground coffee at any time at no charge.

A second armchair in the room would be welcome. The TV only worked if you turned on an unmarked switch by the bed - we had to find this out from reception as there is no explanation in the room. Some TV channels had sound only, no image. The coffee machine on our floor (5th) needed repairing - no milk.

Spacious room, very tastefully furnished, recent and well-maintained infrastructure. Internet connection is good. Breakfast also. Espresso coffee available 24 hours.

In the very large room, it would be good to have a small table with a chair, to put a computer on it and to be able to work or read...

-clean room -free water and coffee facilities -netflix and YouTube available on the TV.

- our bed was very hard. Woke me up every night with sore hips (I'm only 31 for reference, with no aliments) - only one pillow per person provided - barely enough room on the floor to lay down suitcase, let alone have any space to sit and enjoy. - bed is in what I would call a 'nook'. Which looks cool, but from a practical perspective, not ideal as one person has to be clambering over the other if needing to get up - a solid 30+ minute walk to get central to sight seeing places

The hotel was decorated very brightly and modern.

Our room was smaller than we were expecting. The hotel was 30 minutes walk to the busier older town.
