A hidden gem

Meeting Phil the owner who explained everything we needed to know, very impressed by the cottage it was very warm,clean and comfortable.the amount of attention given was outstanding,fresh flowers on the table which was decorated for the occasion with balloons, chocolates,candles etc. The fridge and freezer were stocked with beer,water,butter ,sparkling wine and pizzas as well as milk bread and crumpets ,the list goes on and on.The kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment and utensils that you could need The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds and good quality bedding and towels.There we're also lots of games to play for all ages if the weather is not so good.Our party consisted of eight adults and were using the cottage as a base before attending a family birthday party and to be quite honest I think it would have been hard to find anywhere better in the area ,and all this for a very reasonable price,if you are wanting somewhere to stay in the area give it a go as I don't think you will be disappointed

A brilliant day in a fabulous house

Fabulous house in a handy location for lots of activities but still feels tucked away off the main road. Has everything you could need especially kitchen wise, big comfortable bedrooms, great garden perfect for little ones to run around in. Everything was spotless. Owners are superb and so accommodating.

Absolutely lovely

Phil contacted me a few days earlier, ensured I know where I was going, how to contact him and when I planned 0n checking in so he could meet us. I mentioned I was there with my bridal party for the night before my wedding and he left the table with balloons and confetti. Chocolates and a bottle of fizz in.the fridge. He left the fore pit in the garden ready for us if we had wanted and the freezer was stocked with pizzas in case we were getting there late. The rooms are beautiful and clean and the themes were a great touch. Would definitely recommend.

Well appointed, quiet, large cottage with 6 double bedrooms.

This is a well thought out property with 6 good sized double bedrooms and two large bathrooms. Very well decorated and equipped, and with parking for 6 cars (which is quite rare for these larger properties). The owner was very friendly, very welcoming and very helpful. We only stayed for one night before my daughters wedding but its was perfect for the bridal party. Thank you.

If I had one tiny suggestion it would be that the kitchen equipment needs the addition of a large casserole pot (I was cooking for 10 people) but this is very minor. The kitchen was otherwise well equipped.
