Great alternative to a hotel, private and charming.

Location was perfect, parking was right out front. It was quiet, even on the second floor. It was mid-week so seemed like no one was above us on the third floor. It felt private and offered the amenities we needed for an easy night stay. We like this type of alternative to a hotel and usually seek them out. It was a great find and very affordable. Loved its charm and vintage feel with the exposed brick that you’ll see on a few walls.

The sheets and towels were washed with a scented detergent or softener. I use only unscented as I have allergies and found this to be off putting while trying to get comfortable. The bed is better than many hotels, but I found it a bit too hard for my preference. The entry is narrow, but we were prepared for this after reading about it on other reviews.

Comfortable clean stay in Toledo

The room was big and the bed big and comfortable. Lots of light from big windows. The windows blocked any street noise. The feel of the room is kind of NYC-flat Bohemian style. It was clean and there was plenty of hot water for showers.

The kitchenette is really too tiny and cramped to do any cooking in but there’s plenty of restaurants within a short drive. If you stay here be aware there are stairs. If you can’t do stairs then this is not the stay for you.

It was cute

Really charming and roomy! Appreciated the quick response when I was having difficulty entering the property.

Getting in the external door was difficult. The keypad wouldn't work until I pulled the door in and held the knob. That would have been a good extra communication on entrance. I also didn't see anything posted about the number of stairs and while I was fine, many would not be. It was also uncomfortable trying to how to figure out how to get in with the loiterers around the convenience store.

Nice place, convenient set up and good facilities. Neighbourhood not brilliant

Amenities were good, and the bed is huge! TV and wifi were great and the apartment itself was lovely.

Not something that could have been foreseen, however the police to raid the building just before midnight after a violent incident in one of the apartments in the building. Lots of screaming, shouting, and banging, with one door opposite my room was kicked in when I left in the morning. I haven't heard any word from Booking.com or the property after the incident, which definitely made night 2 an uncomfortable nights sleep.

We were on the second floor and once someone moved in upstairs it was bad. The noise from walking around was very bad. I was great otherwise.

Good place to stay if visiting downtown but host could improve on bathroom facilities

Great location downtown just blocks from restaurants, music venue; bed very comfortable, lovely linens; big windows looking out on street; manager responded to questions immediately and helpfully

Bathroom facilities are very old and cramped, no place to put toiletries; holes in the floor near a pipe in the floor; stairs to second floor narrow and steep, hard to juggle luggage

Good for a one night quick stop through town, not fully redone apartment

It was so cute in the main room and when we first walked in. Also. It was so easy to access.

The bathroom paint was peeling and really hasn’t been redone with the same care as the big room. The little hall way kitchenette also was sort of half done. Silverware just set in the cabinet and a sad dying mini fridge.

Would stay again! Very cute and perfect for a weekend getaway.

I liked the historic look of it! Had everything we needed. A few plates and dishes if we needed them. Coffee was delicious.

Getting bags in the doorway and making sure the door shut was a challenge in the initial entryway. A second roll of toilet paper would be nice also.

We couldn’t get in!!!! The door was locked, lights were off. I had no phone number for the property and didn’t have a PIN for YOUR customer service. We stayed at another hotel!!!

Cozy charmer that needs some updates

I really liked the charm of the rooms and how spacious they were. It was nice walking distance to everything we did for the weekend. The shower had amazing water pressure.

The entryway and stairwells were extremely hot. The ac/heating unit in the rooms need updated or maintenance, as I did not care for how they sounded and found them annoying so we couldn’t use them at all.

It worked but we would not return.

The bed was quite comfortable.

The entire unit smelled like cigarette smoke, down to the pillows on the bed. It was hard to tell, but it seemed like it was coming from another unit and seeping into the one we stayed in. The TV screen is also slightly broken – parts of it do not light up properly. We had an issue with a lack of toilet paper, but the owner resolved that.
