Overpriced & Inconvenienced

Facility was very Clean, Staff very polite, Bed was very comfortable, Location; Perfect.

The water pressure was very Low in the bathroom, There Was No Elevator, so it was a little bit of an Inconvenience I had just had surgery, that's why the last couple of weeks I've been booking hotel rooms because I was going thru medical treatment in the Ohio Area, so I couldn't carry too much and our room was located on the second floor almost at the end of the hallway.

I’ll Have To Be More Particular About Which Room I Want

It Was In A Familiar Area

When I Opened The Bathroom, A Bug Was Flying Around. I Wasn’t Able To Get It So I Had To Trap It In The Bathroom Whenever I Want Using It. At One Point It Got Out And Flew Around The Room And I Could Enjoy My Food, Shower, Or Just Being On My Phone

It was good, but…

The establishment was presentable.

Unfortunately, I got the 1st floor room that is next to the stairs and diagonally across from the front desk. There was this lady in the parking lot cussing light a sailor for an hour and then continued cussing at the front desk lounge. Some people have no manners. This does not have anything to do with the establishment but everything to do with where my room was. Here’s an idea, use that room as the janitor's room. Problem solved.

The only good thing was location

The rooms were inadequate, hard lumpy bed & pillows, lamps didn’t work, outside key card access to several doors didn’t not work so you had to walk all the way around the building in pouring rain to get in to go to your room, very uncomfortable with the quality of people who hung around the outside entrance smoking marijuana and the whole inside corridors smelled of it. We arrived late enough and was hauling a car trailer that we couldn’t go looking around for a better room it was a quick sleepover and we were out of there as soon as we could.

Rude staff during breakfast. Bathroom too small also big chip on the toilet seat. Rooms uncomfortable and needed updated and deep cleaning. Furniture was old and musty. Location entrance was difficult to maneuver into. Very busy location to navigate. Unpleasant stay to say the least.

We really liked this place. The staff was exceptionally warm and friendly, the room had everything we needed, including new and very comfortable mattresses, and the breakfast was very good.

Not satisfied

When I checked in, one of the bedside lamps was not plugged in. I realized it is because there was not an outlet for it. I then moved it to another spot but the lamp was not working. The outlets at the base of the lights were not working, the pillows were hard and small, the toilet did nto flush well. The TV was very small and the curtains had to be played with to close. The bathroom looked tired and the ceiling was stained.

Convenient to the locations I needed.

Toliet did not flush properly, but I did inform at checkout that it wasn't working properly. Loud guest, walking several times up and down hallway on speaker phone yelling. Lastly, upon checking in, I was told I had to pay a $100.00 deposit, even though I was not informed of this when booking the room. If I didn't pay, they were going to cancel my reservation.

Filthy outside and in, discussing smells and carpet, the quality inn brand is usually unmatched in value and cleanliness, I’m no bigot but outsourcing hospitality to folks with no concept of modernity let alone luxury is just senseless and bad business. Don’t waste your money with these scammers, $100 extra fee is secretly demanded at check in btw.

Good value for cost of the room

First I will say the hotel is in a great location; accessible seconds from the freeway and also within two miles from the University of Toledo. There are numerous of national chain restaurants and retail stores in the area. The hotel and room were clean however, furniture/carpeting in the room and bathroom fixtures is very outdated. Moreover, for the rooms located on the second floor you will have to take one flight of steps, as there isn't an elevator in the building. Check in was efficient. Breakfast was decent. Overall, good value for the money. Just comes down to your price point and preference of the type of hotel you like to stay when visiting this city.

I didn't like that there wasn't an elevator to the 2nd floor. Although that wasn't a problem for me; I hope that for people with disabilities accommodations is being met.

The room was chilly, the bathroom was terribly old and dirty. the towels were all covered in yellow spots. gas station showers are even better than this inn.
