Did not happen. I stayed at the IBIS.

I found the door on the picture provided. They key number did not work. I tried the other doors on street anyway. A french speaker called the owner, The owner said there was no booking. I stayed at IBIS

Excellent Stay at Apartment Mimosa – Dinant

I stayed at Apartment Mimosa in Dinant last night, and the experience was truly excellent. The apartment is spotless, cozy, and beautifully maintained, offering the perfect combination of comfort and simplicity. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, from the clean interior to the warm, inviting atmosphere. The bed was exceptionally comfortable—one of those rare sleeps where you wake up refreshed and fully rested. The kitchen is well equipped, making it easy to enjoy a relaxed breakfast or prepare something simple without leaving the apartment. The location is another big advantage: peaceful yet conveniently close to Dinant’s center, restaurants, and the river. It strikes the ideal balance between quiet relaxation and easy access to the city. Overall, Apartment Mimosa delivers an experience that feels welcoming, comfortable, and genuinely pleasant. I would happily stay here again.

Has potential, but not true to what is promised and dangerous in dark.

The location was good, it is very spacious and has potential.

It stank a lot like smoke, even after putting some windows open, it kept coming back. From the sink in the kitchen it smelled like sewage... We tried communicating the following problems to the host but they just didn't answer and we got ignored: The cooking plate was not connected and when we finally managed to find an extension cable we found out there is no single cooking appliance to be found (pots, pans, plates, cutlery). This place is clearly not meant for cooking anything... The smart tv was not connected and also we were not able to connect it to the wifi network we had the code of, so it was unusable since there are no channels on it. Besides this, the stairs outside are incredibly dangerous (from the terrace leading to the first front door). The automatic light only switches on halfway down, and the beginning is easy to miss (no railing, no sign the ground will stop existing since it is completely dark). I ended up falling from the stairs and needing to be taken to the emergency with multiple broken bones. It could have been much worse. It also gave us a very unsafe feeling that throughtout the day/evening there was continous loud shouting in another apartment we had to walk by when going outside, but that might have just been neighbors/other renters having a bad day ;) I hope people consider all of this before booking. I would strongly advise against staying here as long as these issues are not adressed, or the information that is given is more honest.

Magnifique

Ik ben gisteren in Maison Mimosa verbleven en heb echt een heel fijne tijd gehad. De locatie is uitstekend, alles is dichtbij en toch rustig. Het appartement is volledig nieuw, modern en zeer gezellig ingericht. Alles was proper en comfortabel, waardoor ik me meteen thuis voelde. Zeker een aanrader, ik kom graag terug.

Magnifique Maison Mimosa

J’ai séjourné hier à Maison Mimosa à Dinant et je suis absolument enchanté par cette expérience. La maison est magnifique, décorée avec un goût exquis, mêlant charme, élégance et une atmosphère accueillante dès les premiers instants. Chaque détail est soigné, ce qui crée un lieu à la fois chaleureux et inspirant. La chambre était d’un confort exceptionnel : literie de grande qualité, propreté irréprochable et une tranquillité parfaite pour se détendre pleinement. On sent que tout est pensé pour offrir une expérience haut de gamme. L’accueil des hôtes a été remarquable. Leur gentillesse, leur disponibilité et leur attention à chaque détail font toute la différence. On se sent immédiatement à l’aise, presque comme chez soi, mais avec un niveau de service irréprochable. En résumé, Maison Mimosa est une adresse d’exception à Dinant. Je recommande vivement cet établissement à tous ceux qui recherchent un séjour raffiné, paisible et mémorable. J’y retournerai avec grand plaisir.

Leuk gerestaureerde verblijfplaats voor een kort verblijf, maar er is nog verbeteringswerk nodig.

Volledig gerestaureerd eenvoudig appartement met nieuwe toestelen. Alles was proper en rein. Heel stil, geen last van de buren of van de drukke weg. Dicht bij het centrum, zeker te voet goed te doen. Je krijgt drie sleutels zodat je de buitendeur aan de straat, de deur aan de ingang van het gebouw en natuurlijk ook het apartement kan je afsluiten. Er is wifi op de kamer. Ondanks het een zolderappartement is, zijn er enkele dakvensters voorzien zodat je de omgeving kan bekijken of goed kan verluchten. Voor het gebouw is een groot afgesloten buitenterras met tafel en stoelen wat in de zomer heel fijn is.

Televisie werkt, maar geen zenders, geen radio, geen internet, dus enkel startbeeld en menubeeld. De kookplaat werkte niet. Enkel een kleine salontafel, een club en bank (geen slaapbank), dus eten doe je rechtstaand of aan het salontafeltje. Vanop het buitenterras, voor de ingang van het gebouw, is er een trap naar de buitendeur (straat) deze begint 3 à 4 meter voor de rand van het terras. Er is geen afsluiting of balustrade, levensgevaarlijk. In het donker loop je zo in het trapgat, wat mij bijna overkwam. Het buitenlicht ging net branden als ik op de rand stond, nog 5cm en het was gebeurd.
