Location is perfect. The owner is very communicative. The kitchen is well organized and you have everything in need

We had a lovely three days, making walks and visiting castles in the neighbourhood.
The apartment is spacious, has a nice view and is well-equipped.
The door of the upstairs bedroom, as well as its ceiling is quite low, so that one has to take care not to hurt the head.

Great place to stay
Good location, about a 20 minute walk alongside the river into town. Well equipped and a secure location (in lower ground room) for motorcycle if required, otherwise parking off road next to the apartment in a reserved space. The apartment is in the roof space of the building, and the double doors at the bottom you can see in the photo are where it is possible to leave your bike (I left mine in the parking area).

Wonderful weekend with family
The apartment was a great place to stay with family, especially as there were toys there that kept our kids entertained, as well as a cot and high chair provided. There is a great bath, as well as a washing machine/dishwasher. The host thoughtfully provides the basic things needed in the kitchen like butter, oil, etc to make it easier for you to prepare your own meals. The kitchen appliances are modern and we had everything we needed! The parking right next to the building was very convenient. As we were travelling with toddlers we did a lot of cooking at the apartment and I can recommend Maison Dozot for pre-prepared meals to heat up! It is a short walk from the apartment.
It wasn't a problem for us but if travelling with a baby that cannot walk, there are quite a lot of stairs to the apartment, so something to be aware of if travelling with family. If you are tall watch your head as the ceiling slopes in places! This does not detract from the accommodation itself which is excellent, but a warning to anyone using google maps to get there- if you 'pin' the location and then click on it and ask Google for driving directions, it starts to direct you to a different address in Charleroi.

definitely exceeded our expectations in every way.
Everything was perfect. We appreciated the underfloor heating, the amount of natural light, the atmosphere, the space and the beautiful view we had on the river Meuse and its surroundings covered in thick snow when we were there. also liked the information provided on the town and the area.
