A well equipped modern renovation on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a building on the outskirts of Dinant. Right on the river Meuse, and with parking too. The walk into town is less than 20 minutes, and there's lots to look at on the way. We found it quite comfortable and clean, equipped with the things we needed to cook, and with a plentiful supply of crockery, glasses and condiments. The welcome bottle of sparkling wine was the perfect way to ameliorate a somewhat difficult entry after the host sent us an incorrect door code and took 30 minutes to respond to our calls and messages. Beds are comfortable and the shower was hot and strong.  The washing machine and dishwasher worked well and Internet was reliable. The apartment was warm, even though the weather was mild. A fan was provided in the 2nd floor bedroom if required. The views both down and across the river from living room windows are lovely.

The incorrect entry code provided is likely a once off event. There is no freezer in the refrigerator and kitchen sponges seemed at the end of life. The handrail to the upper floor bedroom staircase does not extend all the way to the bottom of the staircase. The washing machine is front loading, it does a good job but it leaks onto the bathroom floor. Host response to messages seemed slow but problems were eventually sorted.

The apartment is very clean and modern and feels like it's been just recently renovated. A few beautiful pieces of antique oak furniture make it feel homely. The view from the kitchen dining room is stunning. The kitchen was very well equipped and included some essential provisions, like coffee and milk in the fridge. The walk into town along the river Meuse is very pleasant. There is a reserved car parking space next to the property.

The house is on the main road into Dinant. The traffic is noisy, especially when the windows are open, though it dies down in the evening.
