Great location, but the property could use some updates to make it more comfortable.

Good location! A short 10 min drive to Dinant. Easy, free parking on the property or street. Quite central locations to other activities in the nearby towns.

The WiFi didn’t work properly. The person of the property tried to fix it, but it never worked properly. That was quite frustrating, since in the evenings, we liked to stay in the house because there wasn’t a lot to to there in the evenings. If WiFi is important to you, maybe check it first with the property. Some facilities were a bit outdated. The beds were not so comfortable, you almost fell through them, and the pillow could be replaced. I would not recommend the beds for a long stay. The showerhead also doesn’t attach to the top holder anymore, so you had to hold the showerhead the entire time.

Very good

This location was such a unique building. It was so quiet and peaceful. It is also so central to many attractions. There was parking and a nice outside area to sit. There was a kitchen so you could prepare your own food. Very clean.

The weather was warm, ot could use a few fans. The fee for linens was not mentioned in the booking. It was still a very reasonable price with that fee.

an old building, very well maintained big space for the whole family (3 boys) the facilities were totally fine we enjoy the owner welcome tour and tips about the places around there is an additional play room with pool table and table soccer that we enjoyed every evening

This a very special place, build inside an old school. It has a great vibe to it!

The hostess was extremely nice. She heard about our check in through booking late but still made the effort to leave us keys and linens. For groceries or even morning pastries there is a short drive but the quiet of the village is worth it . There is a beautiful hike to take from just behind the church near the guest house if the weather is good, and a fire place and board games in the house if you need to stay in. All in all, highly recommended.

Exceptional

The place is really exceptional - kudos for the ingeniosity and originality! It is exactly as described and pictured. We spent a lovely time both indoors and on the terrace, the village is quiet and picturesque and the gite is perfectly located for trips by car or by bike to Dinant and other places of interest in the area.

The water pressure in the shower is really low at times.

Clean and tidy family apartment with a lot of charm and close to plenty of outdoor activities.

We had a wonderful stay in this old school - it was a very charming building, clean and tidy and well equipt with everything you could need. We were one adult and three children - the children had plenty to do with all the games etc although we were mostly out exploring the region, there are so many family activities on the doorstep. For us the location was perfect as we like to stay in quiet places with no shops (because we live in a city) - this will not appeal to everyone as you cannot walk to any restaurants, but for us, it was ideal. We really enjoyed that we could hike up into the forest from the property (plenty of walking/running trails)/ Owner was helpful with recommendation for local activities also. There is a good heater so we were not cold.

beautiful house, close to dinant. With friends really a nice place to stay.

The terras is really big and the owner could make it so cosy , but it is not so clean and cosy at the time we stayed and the bbq had dirt in it, from the previous staying.

Superb

Quiet little house that used to be a school. Not far from Dinant. The lady who greeted us was very friendly and more than willing to help. Great stay for a family.

Stairs were extremely steep and a little dangerous for small children.

Een dikke vette tegenvaller

De ligging in een mooie omgeving.

Het was er absoluut niet schoon. Bijna overal waar je kijkt zijn er spinnenwebben. Douchekop was heel vies, die was niet schoongemaakt na de vorige bezoekers. De keuken, vettig, inhoud van de kastjes niet schoon. Van de aanwezige kruiden was er een met houdbaarheidsdatum 2021! De bankstel ziet er vies uit en is erg doorgezakt. Zit dus totaal niet comfortabel. De eettafel is gammel, koffiezetapparaat wat niet goed werkt. Er was maar 1 tv zender wat beeld gaf.

de vloer trok wat koud op (hebben de kachel niet aangehad). Jammer dat de keuken kastjes en lades verouderd zijn, dat doet wat afbreuk aan het geheel. Dw tv deed het niet, maar dat vonden we niet erg.

Nette Unterkunft

Spezielle Unterkunft in einem netten, alten Schulgebäude. Geräumig und sauber. Viele Spielsachen. Kinder waren sehr glücklich. Bei der späten Ankunft hat der nette Gastgeber den Zugang mit dem Keybox erleichtert.

Prachtige, indrukwekkende locatie, prachtig pand. Vriendelijke host.

Gordijn keuken kon niet dicht. Was al snel licht. Helaas was de boiler stuk en omdat we maar 1 nacht bleven kon dat niet direct worden opgelost. Host heeft wel poging gedaan het op te lossen voor ons. En compensatie gegeven.

Très beau logement, spacieux et très bien équipé. Proximité avec la ville de Dinant et voisinage calme.

Rien du tout, tout est très simple pour récupérer et on est à quelques min en voiture ou bus du centre ville de Dinant

Une bel endroit ou l'on se sent aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur.

Le cadre est top, décoration soignée, la mise à disposition d'une petite épicerie (sel, poivre, sucre, café) c'est pas partout, l'hôtesse accueillante et disponible, l'environnement calme et agréable, la salle de billard est un plus que nous avons apprécié également.

Si je dois juste souligner ce que j'aurais rajouté c'est un lave vaisselle et lave linge qui seraient un complément lorsque l'on y passe plusieurs jours et des petites cuillères ;-)
