Fantastic gem of an apartment

A comfortable and convenient apartment from which to enjoy Dinant

Spacious, comfortable and generally well equipped; modern kitchen and shower room facilities; convenient location to access all of Dinant’s attractions; host was very communicative; we only stayed 2 nights but really enjoyed our visit

As already noted, the spiral staircase is very tall and narrow (although the communal hallway stairs can be used). This can't be controlled by the host but, for information, Place Patenier has no where to pull over if the car park bays are full and this made unloading our car a challenge; also the surrounding roads are narrow with high kerbs so careful driving is required.

Great property in a great location

Great location, near to parking and the river. The property is well maintained with modern furnishings and contains everything you need, again, everything in perfect condition. Beautifully clean and comfortable. The size is fantastic, plenty of space and thoughtfully laid out. The host is also exceptional and explained everything that is needed for a fabulous stay. What a great stay at this apartment with excellent timely communication from owner.

Loved the location - able to walk from train station with our luggage. Communication from owner was amazing.

The spiral stairs would cause problems for older people or those with mobility issues.

Delightful stay with a great host

Host was very accommodating and responsive to our requests, the kitchen is very well stocked with whatever equipment you might need and we really appreciated the washing machine and drying rack. Living area / dining table was roomy and comfortable, on street or underground parking was right outside, and a corner shop that opens late just round the corner which was very convenient. It was also reasonably easy to walk to from Dinant train station.

It wasn't a problem for us as we just left all our large luggage downstairs, but if you'd like to bring them to the bedrooms upstairs it is only accessible by stairs. Also the apartment is located right on the public square, which can get slightly noisy in the evening when the locals are hanging out there and the sound sort of echoes.

I was happy with our trip. I wish it could be longer.

Great flat, all wood, I love that. Modern kitchen and bathroom. Great views from the windows on the beautiful square and the river. Very close to the city centre on foot.

The mattress was a bit too soft but it didn’t bother us.

Superb stay in a brilliant town

Ideally located in the centre of beautiful Dinant in an old Art Noveau building, this 2-storey apartment is very spacious. Two bedrooms and a large lounge - plenty of space for 3-4 people. Public underground car park, restaurants and cafes, all the famous sights are within 1-5-10 minutes walk. Very good equipped apartments, recommended to all!

Slightly dirty windows on the street side spoilt the view from the window a little, however, inside the apartment everything was clean and tidy.

Cozy weekend stay

Everything was really nice. The location is outstanding. The house has a warm vibe with enough space and facilities. We reached the location a few hours ago, and wanted to leave our bags yo walk around. We were very happy that it was possible. Thanks a lot for the wonderful stay!

Exceptional

Really great accommodation right in the center of Dinant. The house was recently renovated and the facilities (stove, coffee machine, toaster...) are really good. Check in was super easy and the instructions were precise. The train/bus station and supermarket are walking distance from the apartment. Everything was extremely clean!

Easy location. Sonethings need to be improved.

We loved the location as it was quiet but still close to everything. The downstairs has been beautifully renovated and it was a well equipped kitchen.

The internal stairs are quite tight, however we were advised to take our luggage upstairs via wider stairs in the hall of the building which made it easy to get our luggage upstairs. There was no washing machine as listed. We were advised it had broken a couple of days prior. Being that we are travelling for 12 weeks and planned our accommodation around when we would need to wash this was a bit frustrating.

A pleasant and short stay in a beautiful Belgian Village!

The price to stay two nights at the `Le Patenier´ was very reasonable for the Easter week. We had very good communication with Rémy after booking the accommodation, in the lead up to our stay, and during our stay. His responses were immediate for the most part. So we were always up-to-date. And he was very courteous and polite. We enjoyed the living room space. The kitchen was well equipped. We only used one of the two bedrooms (of which the double bed was quite comfortable). The room size was just adequate. The bathroom was spacious and the rain shower was amazing. Location was very close to the important attractions in Dinant, and some good decent places to eat and buy groceries. The two story apartment is located on the better side of town. The train station was a brisk 10-15 minutes walk for those capable of walking hassle free and with luggage. Otherwise if you don´t like the idea of walking with your luggage then pre-book a cab to get you there. If you have your own car then even better.

The things that I didn´t like were minimal, and mostly because I was not well practised in navigating my way around the apartment at the start. Firstly, the twisting stairwell from the top floor to the bottom is very tight and there is not a huge amount of room to move on it. So the first time I used it I grazed my leg as I walked down to the first floor. The main bedroom has very little room between the foot of the bed and the wardrobe against the wall. So walking around to the other side of the bed was quite an exercise in walking sideways in order to not scrape my legs again. I would strongly recommend that the wardrobe be moved into the entrance hall of the upstairs space. Much better space there. The room would be much better without such a large piece of furniture taking up a lot of the space. Therefore keeping the bedroom as clear as possible. Perhaps hang some bars from the ceiling as solution that won´t cause any pain for guests who just might crash into the bed like I did a few times trying to get to the bathroom during the night. The other negative was the lack of a washing machine to wash our clothes. It was listed in the apartment´s Booking.com room breakdown. But it was not in any of the rooms we had access to. The way we like to be as guests is to have minimal intrusion in the owner´s day to day. So we did not wish to inquire about it´s whereabouts. It is disappointing when the important things that are listed are actually missing from the apartment though. Washing machines are actually an important factor into why book certain places. It´s all part of our travel plans to be able to use one.

Well-equipped apartment with modern settings. Great economical option for an apartment!

The location is great. It's in a quite neighbourhood with a limited view to Meuse river and Dinant Citadel. The kitchen utilities are nice and great for preparing your own meals! No facility is shared with others so the privacy is fantastic given the price. Five minutes walk to the attractions in the city center and to a big supermarket nearby. Although there was a hassle at the beginning with a mistake of the booking system, the host was very proactive in solving the problems and replying the messages before our arrival. The checkin and checkout times are flexible and the process was easy and straightforward. Overall we're satisfied with our stay in Dinant and the apartment!

Because of the mistake of the booking system, it's a pity that we didn't get the original two-bedroom apartment and instead got the alternative one-bedroom apartment in the same building, but it is what it is. Sometimes we can still hear the loud noise from the motorcycles from the main roads nearby but overall it's quite at night. The stairs up to the apartment look like it's still under construction so it didn't look nice. But overall it's fine given the fact that the price of the apartment and the facility in the apartment are great.

Jo helyen van, volt ebédlöje és napalija is a konyha mellet, plusz WC a fürdöszoba mellet...

Az emeletti kéttszobás lakásbol az egyik szoba nagyon kicsi, pici ablaka van és puha az ágy. Hideg volt (januárban )az elsö éjszaka mig felmelegedet a lakás... szerencse volt plusz takarok .

Proximité du centre, cuisine équipée, beaucoup d'espace, facilité d'accès, 2 chambres, chauffage et douche en bon état. Internet aussi. Informations touristiques. I Départ jusqu'à 12h autorisé par le propriétaire

Pas de poubelle "composte", uniquement 3 petites cuillères restantes. Difficile d'aérer. Plancher en bois rustique mais "bruyant".

Céntrico y práctico

Céntrico. Había mucho sitio para aparcar y un parking subterráneo Justo en la puerta del apartamento. La cocina tenía todo lo necesario para cocinar. Los espacios eran grandes y tenia un baño completo y un aseo (algo muy positivo cuando somos 4)

Hubo un pequeño problema que nos solucionaron enseguida. Cuando viajas es muy probable que surjan complicaciones o pequeños problemas y es muy importante tener un buen anfitrión que te ayude y los solucione.

Precios dúplex en Dinant

Me gustó todo. Entiendo que la escalera de caracol con niños pequeños es complicada pero a nosotros nos gustó mucho. Aunque es llegada independiente el anfitrión estuvo muy atento todo el tiempo con indicaciones claras. En el dúplex encuentras todo lo que necesitas, el equipamiento de la cocina y de los baños extraordinarios. La úbicacion es perfecta. Puedes aparcar al lado en la misma plaza o en un parking cubierto. Son de pago excepto de 5 p.m a 9 a.m. Además Dinant es una ciudad preciosa . El salón comedor y la cocina son muy amplios, además hay un baño en la parte de abajo que se agradece para no tener que subir. El baño de arriba es amplio con plato de ducha. Las camas cómodas. Todo perfecto.

Prijskwaliteit verhouding is goed! Alles wat je nodig had was aanwezig en het was er schoon en netjes.

De trap naar boven was niet ideaal maar voor enkele dagen opzich prima te doen

Geen werkende sloten op de deuren van de wc en badkamer, koffiezetapparaat deed het niet (moest ontkalkt worden) en gordijnen laten te veel licht door.

Ligging, heerlijk dichtbij centrum en het water

Gekraak van de vloer. Houten vloer, niet fijn voor blote voeten/sokken. Beetje wankele trap naar boven. Jammer dat er geen echt balkon was met uitzicht op het water. Parkeergarage erg krap (voor X5)

Lekker ongedwongen.

De faciliteiten waren ruim voldoende voor de paar dagen dat wij in het appartement verbleven. Keuken was in orde en de douche was aangenaam.

Het is handig om bij de beschrijving te vermelden dat het koffiezetapparaat Dolce cupjes heeft.
