Great! Very nice place. Nothing to complain.

Nice location, a little up the hill away from the main road, beautiful setting. Nice cosy house, plenty of things in the kitchen to make a meal. Great bathroom, spacious bedroom.

For older people the furniture was not the most comfortable, it would be nice if you could stretch out on a nice couch after a long walk. For our personal situation the bed was too hard, but good enough for most people.

Cute but not for those with mobility issues.

The location was wonderful- within walking distance to the center of town. The host was very helpful and easy to work with. The kitchen had everything we needed for our short stay.

This is not a place to stay if you have mobility issues. The bedroom is up a spiral metal staircase and near to impossible to get a large suitcase up. So we left our clothes downstairs. The bathroom is downstairs so if you are older and need to use the bathroom at night you have to climb down a fairly steep spiral staircase. Their is no shower so you will have to be able to get out in and out of a tub. The tub did not have soap or body wash so make sure you bring some and their were only two bath towels which were very small- a little bigger than a hand towel but did the job.

Superb

The host lives besides the property, is very welcoming to guests and is ready to help if needed! Center of Dinant is close by, just follow a long road straight to the citadel/bridge. You can find lots of shops around the area. It was a very clean small studio with a kitchen (cheaper than eating out) coming equiped with everything you may need. Privacy is respected, there are lots of windows with roller blinds which you can also open. There is central heating for colder days you can use as well. I highly recommend this stay!

A beautifully decorated apartment that is well-equipped with everything you may need. The apartment is very clean and organized. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and main attractions. The host, Jean-Jacques, was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend the place for solo travelers and couples!

Perfect stay in Dinant

We came to Autrefois chez Lina for our first weekend in Dinant. We were pleasantly surprised by the accomodation. We were greeted by a friendly host and welcomed into a perfectly equipped and very clean gîte where we felt home immediately. We really enjoyed our stay here, also because of the location, close to everything. Until next time!

The host was really friendly, and the communication good. The place was very clean and everything was perfectly in order. It was very hot the days we were there and there was even an AC. The location is good, it's close walking distance to the center, but the place itself very quiet.

The only thing that could have been better was the shower. It is not very comfortable to have to sit in the bathtub to shower.

A wonderful little haven in Dinant

A great host thank you! He met us on the street at 10pm and helped bring our things to the apartment. The property was so clean - absolutely spotless! It was a lovely little haven to enjoy at the end of the day. It had a very nice atmosphere with the mezzanine and with sweet bird and cherry decorations. He even left us some beers in the fridge which was a lovely welcoming touch. The photos don't do it justice!

My partner had to sit in the bath to take a shower as he was too tall to stand in the bath to take a shower.

Wir hatten einen herrlichen Kurzurlaub und kommen sehr gerne wieder!!!

Wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde wohl gefühlt. Obwohl das Wetter draußen naß und kalt war, war es in der Wohnung wohlig warm. Die Ausstattung war perfekt und wir haben es genossen, in der Küche zu kochen und im Wohnbereich gemeinsam zu musizieren und dabei niemanden zu stören. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll gestaltet mit vielen schönen und teilweise verspielten Akzenten, was es sehr gemütlich macht. Auch das Badezimmer mit der Badewanne war für uns ein Highlight, da wir zu Hause nur eine Dusche haben. Obwohl wir täglich gekocht haben und der Wohn- und Schlafbereich zur Küche offen ist, hat es überhaupt nicht nach Essen gerochen, da der Dunstabzug direkt nach draußen ging und super funktioniert hat. Die Nähe zur Stadtmitte (10-15 Fußminuten) und die vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten (Zitadelle von Dinant, Stiftskirche Notre-Dame de Dinant, Adolphe-Sax-Haus, Pont Charles de Gaulle in Dinant, die Uferpromenade an der Maas, die Grotte La Merveilleuse, Maison Leffe in Dinant…) macht das Appartement ebenfalls sehr attraktiv. Tatsächlich stehen in der Haupteinkaufsstraße viele Geschäfte leer und sind auch in keinem guten Zustand. Das ist wohl noch der Flutkatastrophe von 2021 zu verdanken. Dinant ist dennoch eine Reise wert, selbst bei tristem Winterwetter. Colin, der Vermieter, war sehr herzlich und wir haben uns trotz unserer Sprachschwierigkeiten gut austauschen können. An dieser Stelle noch einmal lieben Dank, das alles so unkompliziert war!!!

Quelques jours à Dinant

L'appartement est aménagé avec goût et très propre, le propriétaire est au petit soin, très disponible. l'emplacement très proche du centre ville permet de profiter de Dinant, de belles randonnées et visites ( citadelle, cathédrale ) nous ont permis d'apprécier ces quelques jours dans cette jolie ville. Nous craignions d'avoir des difficultés pour garer le véhicule, un parking à quelques dizaines de mètres à 0.75 cts l'heure règle le problème. Une adresse à recommander.

Einrichtung und Lage perfekt, eindeutige Weiterempfehlung!

Wir wurden trotz Sprachschwierigkeiten herzlich empfangen. Das kleine Häuschen ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das touristische Zentrum von Dinant war zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.

Da wir sehr gerne im Freien sitzen und essen, fanden wir den Tisch etwas klein und die Stühle draußen sehr unbequem. Aber das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau.

Un petit appartement superbement conçu et décoré ! Nous y avons passé 3 jours (2 nuits) vraiment chouettes. Tout a été prévu pour s'y sentir chez soi....mais à Dinant 🙃 A proximité du centre ville mais dans une petite rue en cul de sac. Parking gratuit à 300m.

Schnuckelige Ferienwohnung mit Atmosphäre nahe beim Stadtzentrum von Dinant

Zur Schlüsselübergabe hatten wir uns mit dem Vermieter verabredet. Alles verlief reibungslos. die Ferienwohnung befindet sich in einem etwas älteren Haus mit morbidem Charme und ist liebevoll renoviert. Der Fernseher ist sehr klein - was darauf schließen lässt, dass der Vermieter nicht auf Stubenhocker, sondern auf interessante Gäste mit vielfältigen Interessen setzt. Das haben wir positiv zur Kenntnis genommen. Die Wohnung liegt zentrumsnah und eignet sich gut für zwei Leute, die einander gut verstehen. Allerdings nicht für Menschen mit Bewegungseinschränkungen. Das sollte man vorher wissen.

Heerlijk appartement in Dinant

Geweldig appartement met slaapkamer boven en zeer goed uitgeruste keuken. Locatie is ook prima . In 15 minuten loop je naar de citadel en in 5 minuten sta je aan de Maas met leuke terrasjes.

Voor ons waren het kussen en matras te hard, maar dat is persoonlijke voorkeur 😀

Séjour très agréable, le logement est situé à 15 min à pied du centre ville, très bien décoré.

Emplacement idéal et au calme, le logement est joliment décoré et on s'y sent comme à la maison. Les équipements sont modernes et un parking public et gratuit est à proximité (40m).
