Lovely apartment

Good value for money. Handy parking and close to everything in Killaloe. Clean and comfortable.

The only real negative was noise coming from the apartment underneath. Poor sound insulation meant that I was woken at about 12.30 a.m. by the conversation of a couple staying downstairs as well as their dog yapping. Later, after falling back to sleep, I was woken by the pair of them snoring loudly in unison.

Very pleasedwith this apartment and the cost is very acceptable.

N/A self catering. Although bread, milk and eggs were at the property in arrival as well as coffee/milk/sugar etc. We were there to visit family so very little time was spent on the apartment.

One problem. I slept on the window side of the bed. The street light shone into the top bedside. Maybe a extra foot on the curtain rail might help to pull the curtain further across.

The fresh bread and eggs on arrival were an unexpected bonus, the property was comfortable, warm and had excellent facilities, the property is within close walking distance of the Lake, but not on the lake as the name would suggest

We loved this perfect little apartment in a pretty little town, with rich history and great bars and restaurants. The place was well equipped, friendly, and stylish. Lots of material in the flat gave us the information we needed to plan our days.

Relaxed, lovely stay in a quiet Killaloe location

We loved Leaba on the lake. Ann was so welcoming, relaxed and warm. We were so chuffed to find a pan of homemade brown bread and eggs waiting for us in the kitchen area along with fresh milk, butter, jams ,tea ,coffee....what can I say...fab. The bed was very comfortable, quiet at night .

Peaceful and lovely stay

The location was close to the center, peaceful and the house was perfectly clean. The owner, dear Ann welcomed us upon we have entered the key code and even helped us to carry our luggage. A freshly baked delicious bread with chocolate and eggs on the table, even fresh milk in the fridge were waiting for us. We loved our stay and highly recommend this place to everyone. thank you Ann.

Comfortable mini break in well equipped apartment.

The apartment was compact but well equipped and quiet. Good shower and dishwasher, even a slow cooker. Also within walking distance of shops, pubs, pharmacy, etc. In many ways a small home from home. Also nice that the host left out essential supplies and offered useful tips on what to see / where to go.

The title of the property and the pictures of the lake are a little deceptive. The property is at the end of a housing estate on a hill about 500m walk to the lake. It didn't really bother us nor did the street parking but maybe the description can be refined to reduce the risk of disappointment.

On arriving Ann our host couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly. She had home made brown bread and little snacks

Awful

I debated leaving this review as I recognise this rental is someone’s business and income source. However- when I make a booking I rely on others leaving honest reviews so I think it’s important that I detail the experience we had. We were unable to stay at this property because of the condition it was in. There was black mould in the bedroom and shower areas and the overall state of cleanliness was very poor. Dirty dishes in the cupboard and nothing to wash them with, dirty floors etc. We initially decided to try put up with it as we were only staying two nights. But we were increasingly uncomfortable the more we uncovered - and we made the decision to leave the property after approx 2 hours (sleeping in a mouldy bedroom was not acceptable to me). It was a terrible inconvenience for us to have to find alternative accommodation, but we really felt we had no choice. I messaged the owner when we were leaving but didn’t actually get a response until the following day when booking.com stepped in.

Upon arrival there was something to eat and to drink. So no instant shopping was required. Further, the apartment was clean and comfortable. Bed was perfect and there was also a nice space to do some work. Internet connection was great.

The accommodation was superb, with great attention to detail, I travel a lot for business, and this is one of the most pleasurable stays I've had. I would have no problem recommending this property.

BIlocale dotato di ogni confort e con arredi nuovi e moderni. Ci siamo sentiti subito a casa. Valore aggiunto le uova e il pane fresco e il latte in frigo. Dotato di lavastoviglie. Buona la posizione nel.paese tranquillissimo.

Se proprio devo fare un appunto, credo che se si vuole fornire la colazione, non si possa far trovare il barattolo di marmellata aperto dai precedenti ospiti... e dentro un .mobile, fuori dal frigo, le scorte di burro, può essere anche pericoloso mangiare del burro che non sia stato al fresco. Oltre a questi piccoli appunti sinceramente siamo stati benissimo.
