Cosy cottage in the burren

Beautiful cottage in peaceful surroundings. Very cosy and had everything you needed and more. Extras like the butter and milk in the fridge were appreciated. Our dogs also had a great time, especially lying in front of the fire on a rainy day.

Nice tiny house

Host provided a lot of food for us (milk, orange juice, pasta and sauce, cereal and some can food). Washing machine, vacuum cleaner, drying rack, microwave (but no microwave utensil) are available. There are 2 hot plates on top of the oven which you can cook your food, but is a bit too high which make cooking difficult.

The house and floor are very cold. Need to bring your own bathroom slippers to walk around the house. There is no dryer but there is heater to dry the clothes. Is a long drive to the place and is far from places of interest. Inconvenient to find food.

Brilliant location, wonderfully quiet and allowed us to walk directly up onto the hill.

It's a tiny cottage but that's okay. However another small easy chair could be added in for relaxing. The current sofa is somewhat of a squeeze for two!

The location in the Burren was excellent. Very quiet and delightful little cottage, perfect for two.

Peace and sunshine in the Caher valley ... fantastic ..the cuckoo was a bonus!

GLYNN'S cottage met all our expectations. Quiet location in the heart of the Burren and very friendly host.All facilities present including internet (!) and house was very cool in the exceptionally hot weather which was a big bonus for our dogs.Loved hearing the cuckoo throughout our stay ........ thank you Patrick and Jessica!

One small thing would be a bigger kettle , that's all!

A few steps and you can start climbing the mountain

Cottage was almost in the mountain. Old little cute stone house for two with small yard. Host left for us bread, juice and milk. We were greeted by two hospitable dogs and a cute cat.

The floors are cold, but that's to be expected from a stone house.

A tv in the living space would have been nice to relax in front of after a busy day exploring. There is a small one in the bedroom.

Wonderful and relaxing

Lovely and cosy. Brilliant that we were able to bring our dog with us. Jessica and Patrick were so lovely and had milk, juice, butter and jam in the fridge waiting for us. It was lovely and clean and it was great being able to use their peat in the stove on the wet chilly nights. Would love to visit again

Cosy and great if you like/own animals and the wild outdoors

Dog-friendly and complimentary breakfast and food items were very thoughtful. Very near the beach and very friendly owners.

Creaky twin bed was very short; if over 6’ you could not stretch out due to metal bed-end. The width also made sleeping two uncomfortable; a queen-size could have fitted in the room.

Lovely area, keys ready and waiting on arrival.

Wi-Fi wasn’t work which we were told a few hours before arriving & offered a refund, but wasn’t mentioned there was no phone service at all in the location. Bed & pillows were lovely & comfortable but the bed was very noisy any time you moved.

Kein vier Sterne Cottage

Es war ein typisches Cottage auf dem Land. Es war sauber und das Bett war gut gewesen. Die Zufahrt ist holprig aber auch mit einem Kleinwagen machbar.

Die Ausstattung der Küche ist schlecht. Kein warmes Wasser zum Spülen, das muss man sich in einem kleinen alten Wasserkocher machen. Der Herd ist nicht regulierbar und nichts für kleine Leute. Auf Anfragen beim Vermieter kamen keine Antworten. Der Preis ist überteuert.

Terug in de tijd met uitzicht op de burren

Geweldige ruimte om in te verblijven. Gelegen op een boeren erf. Mooi omgebouwde schuur of huisje met alle faciliteiten die je nodig hebt. Klein maar ontzettend knus. Onze leukste verblijf op de vakantie!

Houdt rekening dat je wel wat boodschappen in huis haalt. Het is een half uurtje rijden naar een supermarkt.
