The cottage was so interesting to stay in. It brought me right back to chilhood memories visiting old cottages like these. We loved the turf fire, the peaceful garden and the horses in the field. Delighted to be able to show the children how many of their relatives would have lived. It was on a quiet road so lovely for walking. The host was wonderful and a fountain of knowledge on the old customs.
Nothing.

Great little cottage in rural Co. Clare, perfect for relaxing or getting a real feel for farm life. The accommodation is simple but has all the amenities needed for a couple of days or a longer stay. The firepit just add to the charm. The host was very friendly and responsive, and even took the time to show us around the accommodation, the farm, and the animals, as well as recommend local activities. The location is ideal for visiting Loop Head, the Cliffs of Kilkee and the Cliffs of Moher, enjoying nearby beaches, and taking scenic drives along the Wild Atlantic Way. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.
We really enjoyed our stay. These are only small suggestions—perhaps a coffee table by the fireplace and, for personal comfort, a firmer mattress in the double bed.

Ein wirklich sehr schönes altes Cottage! Liebevoll eingerichtet. Wirklich so wie es früher in Irland war!
Leider etwas staubig.

The house is very quaint, cosy when the fire is on but not worth the price point.
The products left in the kitchen like dish soap, spray, coffee, tea could have been topped up or replaced.
