"It was everything I needed: silence and nature. The cabin is clean and has utensils for the kitchen. When we arrived, the heater was already on, keeping the cabin warm. I will return many more times."

Kilbane Glamping is a little gem. Our stay was brief but we will have lasting memories.
The views the next morning were amazing. The owners had the pod extremely warm and cozy for us on arrival for a cold and stormy night which was most appreciated. It was Halloween and the path to the pod had great decorations which added to the enjoyment of our stay, nice touch!!
The fridge went to freeze mode and froze our milk for breakfast the next morning. We laughed that off as it was a bizzare occurrence that could happen anywhere. Nobody's fault that didn't take from our stay.

I loved 🥰
It was everything I needed: silence and nature. The cabin is clean and has utensils for the kitchen. When we arrived, the heater was already on, keeping the cabin warm. I will return many more times.
The bed was very soft, but everyone has their own preference. You can't please everyone. And I didn't see a phone number to contact them if needed. I had no way to get in touch with the owners, where we could ask for information… in some ways it was good, because my husband and I felt comfortable inside the cabin, where we were given privacy.

Fell well short of glamping
Quiet location
We gave our arrival time as 3-4pm but at 3:55 the pod was not ready and still being cleaned. Parking was approx 90m downhill so all luggage/food/drinks needed to carted uphill. Freezer unit in the fridge was iced closed and no knives in the cutlery caddy. Both were swapped with the other pod (so that user had the same issue). No plug-in cooktop- BBQ available but no utensils for it. Self-catered accommodation in an isolated location needs better cooking options.

incredible! highly recommend!
stunning location, lovely set up with the farm animals right outside our door (behind a fence), our 6 year old absolutely loved it, it was safe for her to roam the property and feed the animals with grass, we used the gas bbq for most dinners, it was divine, instant relaxation in the beautiful Irish countryside and great base to explore the area.
the host could have been a teeny bit more responsive, but she was absolutely lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. thank you so much for lending us the airfryer when it rained one evening!

My stay was enjoyable and enriching, offering a perfect balance of comfort & memories.
There was no breakfast. You’d have to buy stuff from the nearest town before driving down. All in all, it was an amazing experience.
Only thing was the insects at night and that’s because the lights were on and grass everywhere. But it’s not a complete downside.

Glamping in style
Very quiet, lots of privacy. Adjacent to one other pod, but good separation between. Loved having the donkeys and other 4-legged neighbors in the pastures (cows, sheep, goats, and a pig). Functional kitchenette, with electric kettle and toaster, small fridge and microwave. Functional shower/bathroom. Good ventilation. Nice wood paneling everywhere. Very clean.
Very clean, except when I looked behind the couch to make sure we didn't drop anything. Also there seems to be some water damage in the bathroom near the shower drain.
