The views the next morning were amazing. The owners had the pod extremely warm and cozy for us on arrival for a cold and stormy night which was most appreciated. It was Halloween and the path to the pod had great decorations which added to the enjoyment of our stay, nice touch!!
The fridge went to freeze mode and froze our milk for breakfast the next morning. We laughed that off as it was a bizzare occurrence that could happen anywhere. Nobody's fault that didn't take from our stay.

The bed was very soft, but everyone has their own preference. You can't please everyone. And I didn't see a phone number to contact them if needed. I had no way to get in touch with the owners, where we could ask for information… in some ways it was good, because my husband and I felt comfortable inside the cabin, where we were given privacy.

Quiet location
We gave our arrival time as 3-4pm but at 3:55 the pod was not ready and still being cleaned. Parking was approx 90m downhill so all luggage/food/drinks needed to carted uphill. Freezer unit in the fridge was iced closed and no knives in the cutlery caddy. Both were swapped with the other pod (so that user had the same issue). No plug-in cooktop- BBQ available but no utensils for it. Self-catered accommodation in an isolated location needs better cooking options.

stunning location, lovely set up with the farm animals right outside our door (behind a fence), our 6 year old absolutely loved it, it was safe for her to roam the property and feed the animals with grass, we used the gas bbq for most dinners, it was divine, instant relaxation in the beautiful Irish countryside and great base to explore the area.
the host could have been a teeny bit more responsive, but she was absolutely lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. thank you so much for lending us the airfryer when it rained one evening!

There was no breakfast. You’d have to buy stuff from the nearest town before driving down. All in all, it was an amazing experience.
Only thing was the insects at night and that’s because the lights were on and grass everywhere. But it’s not a complete downside.

Very quiet, lots of privacy. Adjacent to one other pod, but good separation between. Loved having the donkeys and other 4-legged neighbors in the pastures (cows, sheep, goats, and a pig).
Functional kitchenette, with electric kettle and toaster, small fridge and microwave.
Functional shower/bathroom.
Good ventilation. Nice wood paneling everywhere. Very clean.
Very clean, except when I looked behind the couch to make sure we didn't drop anything. Also there seems to be some water damage in the bathroom near the shower drain.

Being surrounded by the nature and waking up to the farm animals at my window

The place was perfect for our needs. Even though the wind was huge that night, we didn't hear anything. Very peaceful surrounding, enjoyed the donkeys especially. Plus our kids found a little fairy tree which was a good play area while we were packing.
I should say no WiFi, but I think it's only a benefit, a little internet detox is always good.

The host was very responsive and kind. There is lot of place for the kids to play if the weather is nice. Beeing surrounding by animals was amazing.
We had a great time and have no real critiques ! However if the weather is bad the experience might be different.

the view was very nice and we were delighted with it
We were really disappointed with our stay at Kilbane Glamping. One of the main reasons we booked was for the bbq facilities, which were clearly listed, but it turns out the bbq and fire burner are only available in one specific pod, this was not made clear anywhere during booking. We had brought food specifically for the bbq and were left with nothing to cook on that night. The bbq was eventually brought to us around 5pm the next day, which was a bit late as by then two of our meals had already gone to waste.
Communication with the hostess was also very poor. I messaged her two hours before arrival, then again when we got there, and called twice & no response. We had no idea we were meant to just let ourselves in. It wasn't until the following day, just an hour before check-out, and it was only then that I got a reply about the bbq situation aswell.

Great location for sightseeing around Lough Derg and on to Galway, lovely views, fun and comfortable pod and very sweet with the donkeys, sheep, goat and adorable pig. And hosts Aine and family couldn’t have been more helpful!

I absolutely loved the accommodation - the views were stunning and it was so calming having the animals in the paddock next to you. I would highly recommend.

Fabulous facilities, they even gave us some turf for the chiminea so that the kids could roast marshmallows. The kids were also allowed to feed the calves which they loved. So much room for them to run around. My oldest daughter was playing in a tournament in limerick for the week so we were going in and out to UL to watch her and it is less than half an hour from UL. We also were only 20 mins away from Ballina and Killaloe so went there in between matches and used the outdoor pool in Ballina which was fab.
The cabin itself was spotless, the bed was so comfortable as was the pull out couch bed which is pretty hard to find. It was equipped with a fridge, freezer box, kettle, toaster, microwave, just ideal for us.
Everything was great.

What a joy to arrive to this cabin after a long drive. Beautiful tranquil location. We travelled as a family and it was perfect for what we wanted. Room for the kids to run around outside safely and some friendly farm animals to send them out to say good morning to. Great base to stay if you are exploring the area around. Host was easy to reach if we needed anything and dropped down extra towels during our visit. We all slept really well, comfortably fits a family of 4 with room to eat/play a game during the day and then pull out the sofa bed at night for a rest. Would love to come back again!
No complaints.
