From the moment I heard from Bernie & Michael I knew I booked the best spot for my family. The welcoming texts message and greetings we received put a huge smile on our faces. They thought of everything. The huge welcome basket filled with delicious Irish goodies, milk, butter, and jam in the fridge for us. They are beyond welcoming. So helpful with wonderful with travel tips. (we saw the dolphins on the River Shannon. Thank you for that tip.) The view from the sunroom is amazing. It was a wonderful experience. I would recommend to friends and family.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bernie and Micheal’s house. It was super quiet, spacious, warm and in a gorgeous location surrounded by fields with the sea in the distance. We had spent the day driving and so when we arrived to a warm house, scented candles and the largest hamper of goodies we were so grateful. The accommodation had a homely feel from the decor, the bedding and towels and the thoughtful personal touches such as toiletries, books, films, games and a radio/dvd player, The kitchen was lovely to cook in with utensil’s, cooking oils, teas, coffee.
We really appreciated the thorough welcome pack with maps and information about the rich diversity of things to do in Co Clare. We also really appreciated the communication. We let them know that one of us had gluten and lactose intolerance and they provided two loaves of bread and some lactose free milk.
Bernie and Michael were very happy for us to text them with questions during our stay and they responded with recommendations swiftly. As they live next door any issues were dealt with straightaway.
You will need a car at this location but that probably goes without saying. It's between Enystimon and Millton Malbay both of which were lovely towns with good pubs, restaurants and music sessions.
On our last day we also treated ourselves to assassin at the Falls Hotel spa suite with Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room etc.
Thank-you both, we will be returning to Seaview cottage the next time we visit Co Clare.
Nothing could be improved, it was perfect.

Lage etwas "dezentraler" als erwartet bei Buchung.

Wir wurden mit einem riesigen Korb voll Verpflegung (Kaffe, Brot, Marmelade, Süßigkeiten und Chips) sowie mit Butter, Milch und Saft im Kühlschrank empfangen. Michael hat uns mit vielen Tipps für Ausflüge versorgt und es war eine Mappe mit ganz vielen Infos, Flyern etc. verfügbar. Die Ausstattung ist gut und gepflegt. Das Haus ist groß - wir waren allerdings nur zu zweit und hatten drei Schlafzimmer mit jeweils Doppelbett... Beeindruckend ist der Blick aus dem Wohnzimmer-Wintergarten zur Lahinch-Küste und zum Atlantik. Auch wenn es einige Kilometer weg ist, ist es durch die Höhe mit endlosen Sonnenuntergängen, Wolken, Wind und Blick auf Meer genauso, wie es der Name verspricht.
Für unabhängige Selbstverpfleger mit Auto o.ä. ideal! und ohne Einschränkungen zu empfehlen.
Es ist schon etwas "hide away". Andererseits sind es mit dem Auto weniger als 10Minuten nach Lahinch oder Ennistimon, wo man sich mit allem versorgen kann ...
