just a needed get away from the madenss

there was nothing for the kids to do at the property or at the hotel

My work trip was 4 weeks but one week was enough for me here.

Would be a good base for sightseeing. Hill walking was only 30 minutes away.

House was cold when i arrived and the bedroom was the only room which retained the heat. The kitchen was in need of an update. Cooker had missing parts. Fridge needs replacing.

We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Great location, tranquil, scenic, walking distance to town, shops, cafés and pubs. Small hotel next door, nice for a coffee or lunch. Holiday homes were well equipped and good size for our adult family groups. Good base to explore immediate and surrounding area.

A convenient spot for visiting family living locally with cheerful and efficient staff.

The holiday home was very convenient for visiting family in Ballina. Communication was good and checkout was efficient. The absence of a cot and high chair requested at the time of booking was quickly remedied.

Sadly, the house was a bit tired and a number of things didn’t work or were worn out. I’ve emailed the owners direct.

Great holiday

We liked everything about it, lovely board walk to the two adjoining towns. The house was perfect plenty of room to enjoy it. All the facilities were very good. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

very dated. not clean ,very expensive for what it was . no towels upon arrival or extra toilet paper to be found anywhere. overall very poor accommodation we stayed all over Ireland this trip and this was by far the worst and most expensive accommodation

Good size house quiet area.

The sitting room is upstairs which would be great if you had a nice view.. We had a view of the rubbish bins and opposite us the back of other houses. No facilities on the site and looks like a lot of the houses are long term rental .

The house was very comfortable with everything you need available for a short stay.

we had to drive everywhere. this was partly due to bad weather so would have been able to walk in summer. Killaloe is very beautiful and easy access to Ballina also.

Good location, ok stay.

The location was good. Close enough to Killaloe town and harbour. Some houses have been renovated - new floors and carpets.

There were issues with hot water, heating and payment of energy bills. Although Helen was helpful on the phone it’s quite awkward that there is no one on site should issues arise. Parts of the house weren’t exceptionally clean - for example windowsill in bathrooms.

Location is ok even though it's a housing estate, but I would not recommend Trident Holidays

This was the coldest property we have ever stayed in. I can see why you have to pay for all electricity used when you leave, clearly the owners can not afford to heat the property, it was an ice bucket when we arrived and the property retained no heat as soon as the heaters are turned off its cold within minutes and I mean shivery cold. I wish we had discussed with our local friends where we intended to stay before booking as it turns out it is a well known fact in the area that these houses are cold. Kitchen utensils provided are also very sparse and of poor quality, if you like to cook your own meals which is a reason for booking a house and not a hotel I would suggest you bring your own equipment. Houses are attached on both sides and we could clearly hear the music and voices coming through our bedroom wall.

House is great size and value. Helen is really nice and helpful.

The rooms get very cold, especially the bathrooms. The heating is required nearly all the time in December. Once its turned off it gets cold quickly.

Had to top up electrical meter and was charging €2 each for towels so as a family of 6 we brought our own towels.

Management staff was helpful ( she drove my son for shopping). House was near to amenities such as Aldi.

Cleanness of carpets. Electric heaters were not sufficient. The house was very cold. The duvet covers were too old( need change). Sink Water tabs need to be changed to mixers.

Lovely escape in a lovely location

Not my first stay at this location and won't be my last. Great location and the facilities are excellent. Melissa was very helpful and friendly. Overall a great experience again!

Fantastic Accommodation for Groups

The accommodation was in the perfect location for our group and was fully equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The on site manager Mel was excellent to deal with and was very accommodating with both check in and check out times, Mel also gave us some great recommendations of places to go and things to do in the area. Would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be back!
