Wonderful stay in cosy cottage!

We had a short but wonderful stay in the cosy cottage this week! It was easy to find and extremely comfortable and cosy! Roisín met us on arrival and showed us around..the cottage is well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. Beautiful views of the lake..Roisín is a wonderful, kind and friendly host and we will be back to visit again for sure!

It was a really lovely

Roisin is a wonderful host, she hsd gluten free bread for me. Organic eggs and fabalous marmalade.. the views of the Shannon are stunning Very private. I loved The quietness of the countryside with no traffic noise at all though its close to busy road. Its in the country and close to Ballina and lots of walks and lake access locally.

Bread, milk, butter in the fridge and tea and coffee in the kitchen to meet my needs for breakfast, I did not arrive until 10:30 had a great nights sleep, Great facilities and very clean and quite.

A cosy lake side cottage

It was a lovely cosy place, very clean. The owners are in the main house beside the cottage and they were so welcoming and accommodating. They even left out fresh eggs from their hens, milk, bread when I arrived. They were very kind and helpful. I would definitely book that place again. Beautiful views of the lake. Good location

Lovely cosy getaway.

Beautiful setting and absolutely stunning view, especially at sunset. I loved the cottage. It had everything I needed and more. Spacious, yet cosy. So comfortable, especially the living area and the bedroom. Lovely place for a getaway with someone or alone. Nice paved area to the side of the cottage - great to have some outdoor space. Kitchen was very well stocked. Very friendly host who met me on arrival and gave me lots of information about the cottage. She also left some fresh milk, bread, homemade marmalade and eggs in the fridge. It was just my style of place.

Great stay, perfect layover during drive from Dublin to Killarney.

Nice countryside cottage with lake view. Cottage was clean and well equipped. Great little town just minutes away with great pubs and restaurants.

Cottage surroundings were a bit unkept. Lake view is somewhat obstructed from the main house. No chance of walking to the lake, it is quite distant from the house.

Exactly what I needed

I travelled for work. After a long day, I was able to check in within seconds, then have a great evening resting a very cosy cottage and left early morning without any bother. Perfect! Thank you for having me and I'd like to come back next time when I'm in the area.

Peaceful comfort with exceptional views.

After travelling for two weeks, multiple pods and hotels, we had the best nights sleep right here. The property is tucked away privately, with a fantastic view of the lake from the living room window. It is well heated, with the ability to increase if needed as extra oil heaters supplied. The kitchen has everything you could need in your own home, to make a meal including a microwave. The shower is hot, and the water runs well. There are books to fill your evenings, and plenty of shops to drive for food/take out/pub. On arrival we had bread butter, eggs, home made marmalade and milk, which is such a lovely touch. The ducks add an even more rustic touch, and it was truely an all round delight staying here. We were able to relax, in peace and quiet.
