17th Century Cottage, Log Burner & Hidden Garden

Lovely cottage ,very comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for. Location was good with easy access to surrounding towns. Great bed and nice touch with welcome basket. Very clean and great communication with owner.

Nothing to dislike.

We loved the log burning fire , and the stunning secret garden .

There was no village shop for last minute bits.

The traditional features, including the fireplace and wooden beams. Kitchen was great and suited our needs, with all appliances and kitchen utensils needed. Comfy beds. Nice shower.

Not a dislike but just a note that the carpet on the stairs is coming lose and care needed to be taken when using them.

This cottage was exceptional. It was beautifully maintained, it had all of the original features, including the log burner, which was easy to light and fuel and logs had been left which was an added bonus. Despite the original features this cottage has been carefully and tastefully decorated so that original meets modern. The bathroom was modern and of a high standard as was the kitchen and furniture. The added bonus of a welcome basket with tea bags, biscuits, drinks and much more was just beautiful. The bed was so comfortable and as a woman staying alone I felt so safe. Thank you so much for the BEST stay. I cannot wait to go back and have been showing all my family and friends your amazing cottage.
