Perfect for our needs

Really lovely apartment in a lovely village setting. Perfect for a few days around the Skipton area. Clean, comfortable, easy to heat. Small details like teas/coffees/condiments being supplied was helpful. Spacious & Would absolutely book again

Perfect accommodation

Lovely, clean apartment with everything we needed. Perfect location in quiet village right next to the station, enabling easy transportation. Friendly and welcoming staff in the pub, great food!

Not much to not like, really. I suppose if I had to choose something, I would say there's no parking on site but the train station is next to the pub and overnight parking is only £1.00. Can't really complain about that.

Absolutely wonderful stay, with a fab location

Lovely stay, I'll likely be going back! The location is great with the train station being almost next door, and there are plenty of hiking areas nearby. The facilities were wonderful. The milk bottle and little extras were fab! The kitchen had seemingly every utensil you could think of needing. I had a pizza on one of the evenings, and I was surprised to find a pizza cutter! I really recommend this apartment. The people in Cononley were friendly, too!

The spiders!! But that's just one of those things that come with being in the countryside. I had one that was hanging out with me in the bathroom most of the time 🤣 The pub downstairs was a bit noisy, but fortunately it closes fairly early on a weekday so it wasn't much of an issue.

great area, lovely location, not far from other places of interest

location was great. I didn't get the revised directions to the nearest car park until we arrived at the first which was 14 miles away from the apartment. initially we couldn't find the entrance as the door is actually blocked from view by the outdoor enclosed sitting area of the pub so clearer directions would have been better after a five hour journey. however once located it was lovely and clean. the noise from the beer garden was not intrusive and did not disturb our stay.

The host has obviously taken care to create a comfortable home in which to stay.

Beautifully equipped apartment with everything we could need. The location was excellent, set in a quiet village outside of Skipton. There was a shop nearby with a perfect selection of essentials and seasonal goods. The apartment was spacious while being very warm and cosy for our winter stay. We added an extra night as has settled in so comfortably. There were books, games and toiletries provided. The pub underneath was a bonus, rather than a noise problem. While we could hear the sounds from below, this was only in the bathroom and kitchen. The food was delicious and super convenient. I would definitely stay again if planning a train/ walking trip in the summer.

The tv reception in bedrooms could be improved but as the one in the lounge was fine, we had little need for it. We managed the parking by finding spaces nearby.

It was great for a weekend away for walking in the Dales

On Street Parking, but there was a small car park about 200yds away.

Great stay, fantastic apartment, pub downstairs, beautiful area - what more could you need.

A beautiful apartment above the pub (no noise disturbance), exceptionally clean and tidy, and well placed for visiting the area. Couldn't fault it; everything we needed was provided. Cononley rail station very close by - we took the walking option into Skipton along the side of the canal, lovely walk, and took the train back later (one stop). Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Dale.

A well thought-out rental apartment.

The apartment was very spacious, including a private door and hallway that was very useful for storing boots and coats after a walk in the Dales. The apartment heated up quickly. The kitchen appliances performed well, and the pans and kitchen utensils were all in good working order. I appreciated that there weren't things obviously left by previous occupants. The waterfall shower was great. The beds were comfortable. There were TVs in both bedrooms and in the sitting room. Very good location for getting into the Dales, and affordable.

Putting a table in the kitchen would provide more counter space, which was lacking. You could add a cafetiere to the kitchen. The apartment was clean and serviceable and I wouldn't want to detract from that, but it was lacking softness. Perhaps some rugs? And the walls were quite bare.
