The cottage was in a lovely, quiet location. It was extremely well equipped, one of the best cottages we have stayed in for facilities. Heather was a great host and always available. The smaller second living room acted as a great “den” for the kids, and they referred to it as their own room for the weekend with a TV and board games provided….beyond contented! The cottage is remote but a short drive to Skipton. We hired a barge for the day and then returned to have chilled night in front of the log fire which was lovely. The view from the garden is great…unfortunately we couldn’t take advantage because of the weather but it would be lovely to sit out and admire the view on a nice day. Definitely a cottage we will be returning to!

The property was self-catering but Heather, the hostess, provided plenty of complimentary essential supplies and some very welcome luxuries too!
Heather and her family were delightfully friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible (short though it was).
The location was ideal, being on the edge of the Forest of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales, with wonderful scenery to explore.

Everything a home from home. Had everything you would need for a lovely stay all the finishing touches that were thoughtful. Great for children and the thoughtful Easter gift was such a pleasure.
