The cottage was spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. There was plenty for the children to do (playground, big garden, games cupboard, DVDs etc). The host was really friendly and let the children play with the farm dogs and help collect eggs in the mornings, which they loved! The countryside views from the cottage are gorgeous.

The cottage was in a lovely, quiet location. It was extremely well equipped, one of the best cottages we have stayed in for facilities. Heather was a great host and always available. The smaller second living room acted as a great “den” for the kids, and they referred to it as their own room for the weekend with a TV and board games provided….beyond contented! The cottage is remote but a short drive to Skipton. We hired a barge for the day and then returned to have chilled night in front of the log fire which was lovely. The view from the garden is great…unfortunately we couldn’t take advantage because of the weather but it would be lovely to sit out and admire the view on a nice day. Definitely a cottage we will be returning to!
