A pleasant stay

The location was perfect. A 10 minute walk into the town centre and all amenities.

It sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms and bed settee in front room. However, the second bedroom beds were not made up. We booked as 2 adults, however I would have thought all beds would have been made up to use. It does state to mention if you want extra beds making up but you shouldn't have to do this since you are booking a house that accommodates 6 people. Also they have outdoor cameras at the front of house and back of house. It doesn't tell you anywhere about these cameras. The front camera was dry turned on as came on when motion activated. I'm not sure if the back was on as didn't justice any lights on it. I feel this is an invasion of privacy. I understand if no one is using the house, the need for cameras but should be turned off when someone is using house and told they were being recorded

It was like a home from home. Lovely furniture, beautifully presented, a fab basket of things - including treats - for our pooch. It was lovely and clean, the beds were comfy and it was in a great location.

There was only one really small thing we all thought would be good to have. A lock on the main bathroom door. There was a lock but no key?

Enjoyable.

Very comfortable and the complimentary wine and biscuits were a nice touch, very welcoming.

I did struggle to use the door lock. Didn't realise at first that you have to turn the knob and press down the he handle down at at the dame time. Door very stiff to open and close

Great location, clean and tidy. Milk and wine in fridge were a lovely touch, along with the doggy hamper!

The only thing that was a little let down was the flooring in the bedroom we had been set up in. It could be seen that they had removed a carpet and tried to tidy up the floor boards, making a rustic look. However, they were quite rough on bare feet with large gaps between.

Fantastic short break

Lovely clean and well equipped property. Kitchen very well set out and has everything needed. Lovely log burning fire, extremely comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Walkable into skipton, very dog friendly area

Relaxing and cosy

Lovely log burner, very comfortable beds and linen. Additional loo downstairs. Decorated very nicely. Wonderful hosts who delivered additional logs upon request. Kitchen stocked with everything you could possibly need and our hosts left us a welcome pack of essentials and a generous gift of a bottle of wine for my birthday.

I wouldn’t say it was a dislike per se as it’s to be expected in a property such as this but the kitchen was very cold.

perfect stay for those who want to be self sufficient.

Location , close enough to most attractions, pubs, restaurants, canals and shops, but far enough for the property to be situated in a quiet street. Excellent facilities, especially the kitchen. Clean and very tidy.

During the hot weather, no sheets for the bed, only a doona.

The main issue was assuming we had paid for everything prior to our stay, after only looking for pet friendly properties, to then be told after that we owed for the dogs to stay. This should be a tick box when booking so that you know you have paid in full.

The house was perfect, close by to everything,very clean welcoming and comfortable loved the log 🔥we will be back and would highly recommend you stay here.

The house is positioned up a hilly street and one of the ladies struggled with this, the rest of us did not mind it at all
