Comfortable, relaxing, clean and well located for the station and pleasant canal stroll into town.

It is extremely clean, light and comfortable, with some welcome breakfast supplies in the fridge. I slept very well and had a more relaxing time than I have had for ages. It is located very near the Leeds-Liverpool Canal which makes for a green and pleasant walk into town and to the station which is only a short walk away. It’s a lovely Victorian house.

Comfortable and well laid out property. Very well equipped kitchen.

Nice and spacious house with open plan dining/living room and fully equipped good size kitchen. Handy to have a downstairs loo. Good information about access to the house from the hosts. Easy walking distance from the train station and about a 20 minute walk into the lovely town of Skipton - with lots of shops, pubs, cafes, etc. Some good art galleries and an interesting castle. Can walk to the town along canal footpath. The layout of the house is great. Would have been nice to have more than one bath/shower room. Street parking right outside the house. Nice touch to include some basic breakfast items - thanks :-)

Listed as having two bathrooms, but there is only one (the downstairs toilet only has a basin - no shower)

Lovely house for 3 of us didn't use third bedroom, the house was lovely and clean with milk butter and bread in the fridge, the hosts were great with quick responses to my texts would definitely stay again, Thank you.

Everything, the house was huge, the beds were extremely comfortable. It had everything we needed, and the added extras (bread and milk) was a brilliant touch! The location for the town centre was spot on! Honestly could not fault it!

A very enjoyable stay in Skipton

We really liked the house's location on a quiet street next to the canal, plus there was plenty of space to spend the weekend there. We also found the rooms very comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. Cruzinho was the ideal host: courteous, responsive and very friendly. We'd definitely be back!

Our stay was nearly perfect, so it's difficult to find any negatives! To improve, we'd suggest adding some plant pots on the patio to make it look more inviting and the ground floor could do with an extra piece of furniture to fill in the vast amount of empty space.

A lovely, well equipped house in a quiet, but convenient location

Great, quiet location, an easy walk along the canal into town. The house was very well equipped with lots of extras such as condiments, foil and cling film in the kitchen, and plasters and sanitary products in the bathroom. There was also tea, coffee and sugar provided and the hosts left us milk, bread, orange juice, jam and butter, which was very much appreciated. The grandchildren loved the fact there was a tv in every bedroom! Very impressed.

The only thing I could fault was the laminate flooring downstairs, which seems to have worked loose in a couple of places causing a bit of a trip hazard. After realising the problem we were very careful not to catch our feet in the gaps.

Lots of thought has gone into this holiday let, to ensure you have a perfect stay. All essentials provided. Excellent communication from the hosts. The house is spacious and very clean. It's about a 20 minute walk along the canal into the centre.

Property was bright and welcoming, and very clean. Kitchen had everything you could need, and the welcome pack was appreciated. Beds very comfortable. Great location - 2 minutes from canal path which led straight in to town.

I have never used a key box before, but the email and code was given a few days before, but so easy to use and was given a mobile number if anything went wrong...but it did not FABULOUS< HOUSE, LOCATION, LOVELY STREET, EXCELLENT.

NOTHING, THERE WAS NOTHING TO DISLIKE...CLEAN, EXCELLENT DECOR, FULLY STORED WITH TOILET ROLLS, TOWELS, EVEN BREAD, SINGLE BUTTERS, AND MILK...WOW FOR YOUR FIRST ARRIVAL, EVEN ICE IN THE FREZZER, PANS, POTS, GLASSES, DRAWER FULL OF ANYTHING YOU NEED AS WELL AS KNIVES AND FORKS, BEAUTIFUL TOTALLY WOULD RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE, THE HOSTS SHOULD LEAVE A CARD FOR US TO TAKE AWAY AND TELL OTHERS, AND ON THAT NOTE THEY LEAVE LOADS OF LEAFLETS ON THE SIDE FOR YOU EITHER VISIT PLACES OR TAKEAWAYS OR TAXI FIRMS, FAB...THERE IS NOTHING THAT WAS WRONG FROM START TO FINISH FROM THIS PLACE, EVEN A LOVELY BACK PATIO FOR SMOKERS, LIKE MYSELF, BUT NOT OVER LOOKED AND BEAUTIFUL TO SIT IN AREA...ONCE YOU HAVE STAYED THERE YOU WOULD LOVE TO BUY THE HOUSE.

The very best place to stay in Yorkshire

Our stay in this beautiful accommodation was perfect. The house is decorated and furnished to a very high standard, and it feels just like being in your own home it's just so comfortable. The owner left us milk, bread, tea, coffee, and sugar, which was a lovely welcoming touch. We would highly recommend anyone to stay there.

A very enjoyable week's holiday

The house had everything we could possibly need. The whole house was spotless and the host kindly left basic supplies for us. We particularly enjoyed the walk along the tow path to the town centre.

A good base from which to visit Skipton and the surrounding area.

The property was spotlessly clean with a well- appointed kitchen and bathroom. The downstairs loo was also a real bonus. The location was also great, especially if you were arriving by train as it’s so close to the station.

The step into the bathroom is very steep and there are no hand rails on the stairs so it can be tricky for small children or anyone with limitations in mobility.

Beautifully clean and very well equipped. Canal tow path, 2 minute walk.

The house was immaculately clean as was the bedding and towels. The house is 2 minutes walk to the canal tow path, which is the a 15 minute walk into Skipton. Parking was on street but plenty of it. We took two cars and parked easily. Milk, bread, small jams and butter and orange juice provided. The kitchen was well equipped. All very well put together.
