Warm, welcoming characterful
A little bit shabby with limited kitchen space but this really didn’t matter to us for two nights.

We live in an old Manor House circa 1752 and this cottage was quite like being at home , great log fire plus great facilities and lots of room apart from being a bit tight in the kitchen area
Maybe a dishwasher but currently as the kitchen area is tight might be a struggle

First time issue, and did not cause a problem...
The main bedroom window didn't open, and bathroom radiator wasn't on.

Great location just 1 minute walk to the centre of the village
The town hall clock bells chime all through the night!

Location was excellent for centre and dancing at town Hall which was just yards away.
Cottage for cost was disappointing I.e front door was split into two and anybody with ample proportion would never get through to open the latches on the other side. It rained very heavy one night and the roof on the landing let in water which ran down the landing light and dripped onto the stairs carpet 3rd step down. The cottage in general could do with a paint job, the single beds weren't comfortable and finally the bath should have a hand rail for ease of getting out. There was a nail sticking up in the twin room which requires hitting fully into the boards and the mats in bedrooms and bathroom require non slip backs. All in all disappointing for the cost

Lovely accomodation very handy to village and easy to get to other places from. Very good facilities with clear instructions

This was a beautiful little cottage, it had 2 couches that were great to sit on. There was a log fire that warmed you up, but you didn't need it as the cottage had central heating and it was lovely and warm when we arrived. The bed had a massive thick mattress that was great to sleep on. the pillow was a bit hard, but we found a softer one in the cupboard.
There was no parking at the cottage and we had to walk 150 meters away to park the car.

Lovely character cottage in a perfect location for exploring the dales. Village is picture perfect and lots to do within an hours drive. Very clean.
Parking was limited. Cottage was rather tricky to find. Door was very small. Kitchen was tiny. No WiFi.

We loved the layout of the cottage, it was very cozy and had all the amenities we needed. Great living room and lovely master bedroom. We had a little welcome note, that was nice to have. I liked the fact that we were told where to put the recycling in the centre of town. The centre of Grassington is a very close walk, and has everything you could want - grocery store, post office, pubs, tea houses, folk museum, vintage shops, and gift shops. Walking paths are close by, as is a place to rent electric bikes. A nice get away place with no Wifi. I loved all the books about the Dales, maps, and a relief map about the Dales on the wall.
I found the scent of the laundry detergent a bit too strong, but I was the only one in our group that noticed that, and I think scented laundry soup is pretty standard these days! All in all, a great place!

loved the location- so nice just to walk to the coffee shops etc and explore
A BIG downside is the cottage does NOT have wifi!
on these grounds alone I would not recommend it. overseas visitors NEED wifi.

Excellent location, extremely clean, well equipped, lovely bed linen, quilts and pillows.
Not a real problem but kitchen is tiny but well equipped. Tiny courtyard garden ok but most of it is next doors so can feel imposing on them.

The washing machine was useful.
Grassington is a great place to visit, although traffic and parking can be an issue.
Cleanliness could have been better.
The bathroom light was missing, possibly with live terminals left on the baseplate.
No dryer, although the drying rack had a heater undernath it.
The galley kitchen is awkward.
Pricing for 2 peak nights was expensive.
