Superb cottage, above a fish and chip shop.

The house is in a central and superb location for walking around grassington. It is next to a pub but we didn't find it overly noise. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The living room was comfortable and plenty warm enough. The kitchen had every utensil and accessory you could require, fully stocked and everything neat and tidy.

Above a fish and chip shop. I didn't know this u til payment was taken and instructions to find the property were given. The smell is faint but unmistakable. We were lucky the shop wasnt open during our stay. In summer I can't imagine. Nowhere to unload the car unless you park on the road with hazards on and hope for no cars or people's patience.

Lovely location but would not stay again due to the above.

Location was brilliant and the cottage was very quirky.

Main bedroom door was broken, fell on me and we had to leave it open. No lock or catch on the bathroom door, therefore no privacy. Shower filled too quickly. Living room very cold in winter and needed more heating. Cot not fit for use (mattress none existent) so our grandson could not sleep in it.

Comfortable stay in the centre of Grassington. Lots of cafes, pubs and restaurants on the doorstep.

Apartment is right in the centre of Grassington. Living space is excellent and kitchen well-equipped. Bedrooms space is restricted by low ceilings, but beds comfortable and beautiful bathroom.

To access the apartment, need to go up a steep external staircase. My husband struggles with stairs and I had not realised that accommodation was above a shop. Would be useful to include this in the property description for the future

Wonderful location in a beautiful part of the country, would certainly consider a return visit.

Amazing location, spotlessly clean and very comfortable beds. Large, well furnished kitchen and lounge areas. Good sized bedrooms with good natural light. Lots of storage and hanging space, with new hangers provided-this was much appreciated. Cheerful Villeroy & Boch crockery. Good wifi.

No tea towels, inadequate toiletries (shampoo and bath gel) for number of guests, and limited toilet rolls. No milk jug. No lock on bathroom door. Unable to close main bedroom door. There is a lock on the outside of the smaller bedroom which is a safety hazard. Some loose fixtures, including towel rack in the bathroom and toilet seat. External steps to the property are potentially hazardous and a deterrent for less agile visitors. Nowhere to place toiletries in shower or next to bath. No light over bathroom mirror.

Right in the middle of Grassington, amongst pubs restaurants and cafes. Fantastic walking country. Riverside, hills, woods. Really prompt response to our query about internet router.

A really good base to enjoy the Yorkshire moors. Our Grandchildren were able to explore the village

Good location. Enjoyed walking around the village.

Difficult unloading the car on arrival. Also the low beam in the bathroom although it had a sign it caught me out on a couple of occasions! I appreciate you can’t do much about either!

The property was very clean and very modern in its decor the kitchen had every utensil you could possibly need plus a pint of milk in the fridge when we arrived …..excellent

Good location and clean but heating poor and over use of diffusers spoilt the stay

Location cleanliness and well equipped kitchen

Heating was not effective in heating the lounge area and the excessive use of diffusers to mask the fish and chip s as mell was nauseous and over powering.

It was relaxing and everything we needed we enjoyed our stay. .

The location here is fantastic and very spacious! Great facilities to use also everything you need is there!

We didn’t like the constant smell of the fish and chip shop below it was enough to make us feel sick it was very strong smell. The sofa isn’t very comfortable and neither is the chairs in the kitchen but they did us for the 4 nights we was there. Dog hairs from previous people was still on the blankets and sofa also.
