Cottage in Grassington: Cosy 2-Bedroom Retreat

Location is perfect! Very comfortable in a lovely, quaint village. The cottage has everything you need for a wonderful time.

The cottage is in a great location in beautiful Grassington, it's good there's a street parking space outside the front door. The cottage is tastefully decorated the spacious main bedroom being the best room decorated to boutique hotel standard that felt luxurious with a huge comfy bed, we wondered how they got it in! The second bedroom is bunk beds so only suitable for children. Well supplied small kitchen with the washer drier being a bonus on wet days. There are beautiful walks on your doorstep and a great selection of places to eat in the village.

I had to pay an extra £20 for my dog, I wasn't aware of this when I booked but got told of this when we arrived and my dog was seen, which made me feel a bit spied upon! I must of missed this in the booking info? This was deducted from my deposit of £300 for 2 nights which I felt high for a 2 night stay and also not very trusted. On this trip we stayed in 4 different cottages and this was the only one to charge for a dog and ask for a safety deposit that will take up to 14 days to be returned. I wouldn't book again based on this which is a shame as the property is nice.

Nice traditional cottage, close to centre of village and with parking outside; a few minutes walk from all facilities and pubs/eateries. Main double bedroom and twin bunk beds in other room; main bathroom has to be accessed through main bedroom, although there is a separate toilet downstairs.

Dusty in certain areas - top of bed board and windows had mould on them; the dust was thick and not what I expect in terms of the levels of cleanliness expected. Lack of kitchen equipment - soup bowls only, no cereal bowls and only a couple of items of each crockery. Cottage is for 4 people, so this makes no sense.
