Hazel's House

Lovely little cottage that was very clean, all sorts of unexpected extras around the cottage such as hot water bottles, tea bags, hand soap etc etc Bed was very comfortable and water lovely and hot, instructions provided for all equipment and instructions on locating the property were excellent.

All was good, a little chilly but the weather had turned freezing and instructions on how to up the thermostat were available, we just didn't bother as staying only one night...

Natasha was able to host us for an evening at very short notice. She was very welcoming and was just a message away if we had any issues (we didn’t). The house had everything we needed to cook dinner and have a pleasant nights sleep. Very easy to boost the heating when it got cold too.

There were no negatives to our stay.

From the moment I booked the property I had a fantastic experience with Natasha the host. She sent me detailed instructions about how to find the property, where to park, how to enter the property and reassured me if I needed anything she was just up the road so please don't hesitate to call her. I did specify that I was really keen on having a bath and she locked the opening bath door so it was safe to enter and exit without flooding, so just mention that when you book as she's had floods before from previous guests. I stayed with my sister-in-law who had a dog and there were towels, bowls and a garden for the dog. I met Natasha and she was so helpful and made everything so easy. Highly recommend everything, it was spotless, warm (with the ability to control the heating yourself if need be), beds really comfortable, quiet, easy to park outside the property. One of the best cottage rentals I've had. Thank you sooooo much for everything. Just one top tip to future bookers, when trying to open the gate before getting into the property there's a bolt just above knee level on the other side!!

Excellent location for what we wanted, very clean, beds extremely comfortable, nice outside area.

I didn't realize the property was on such a busy street, but once inside it was a very quiet night and the beds were very comfortable. We were able to park our car on a near-by side street very safely. Walking distance down (and back up!) a very steep street, but we found some great take-out restaurants nearby and a lovely pub that we spent time in - The Boltmaker's Arms.

We were unable to work out how to use the oven and the living room heater. Directions would have been welcome or at least a notice that they weren't functioning.

Well located and comfortable

Very clean and a lovely host! Tea and coffee hot chocolate for arrival but no milk which we were informed about. The kitchen had plenty of utensils everything you would need only not a big enough tray for a pizza.🙁 The bathroom had plenty of toiletries only thing was we couldn’t have a bath as it was broken shower ok plenty of hot water. The beds were very comfortable and lovely thick pillows 🙏

The main bedroom door didn’t shut and because it was on a main road the traffic was noisy. My fault for not looking at the address correctly but I thought the property was in Howarth not Keighley. So we were a little disappointed but still a nice place inside for a night or two.

We stayed for just one night, but everything was absolutely perfect. The house was very well maintained and fully prepared for guests. The owner really went the extra mile – providing toiletries in case someone forgot, as well as tea, coffee, and cereals. You can see that a lot of heart and effort has been put into this place. The bathroom was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We also appreciated the detailed instructions on how to get to the property, as well as the information card inside with useful details about the house (WiFi, heating) and local activities. There’s also a yard with benches, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. A wonderful place – highly recommended to everyone!

We booked hazels house because it was pet friendly. Natasha was very helpful and only a phone call away. The house was clean and had all the amenities we could need. A very pleasant and relaxing stay. We have already booked a return visit.

The views were beautiful! We only stayed one night on our way to the Lake District, but could have stayed longer. The facilities were great and the beds were very comfortable.

It was a shame we were unable to use the bath (problem with the seal?) as that's one reason we booked this property.

Lovely place to stay, perfect for exploring Haworth, Skipton, Grassington etc. property had everything you needed, very well equipped. Parking outside on the road and always plenty of space. Lovely peaceful garden and fantastic views. The beds were so comfortable and the large spacious bathroom was a treat.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Hazel House! The home was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and filled with thoughtful touches you don’t usually find elsewhere—like shaving cream and disposable razors in case you forget your own. The attention to detail was impressive throughout. One highlight was the stunning view from the twin bedroom window—absolutely breathtaking. And the mattresses? Some of the best we've ever slept on, even better than our own at home! Hazel House exceeded our expectations in every way. We’ll definitely be recommending it to friends and family. Thank you, Natasha, for creating such a warm and welcoming space!

Had all the things we needed, plenty of space and comfy beds. Host was fantastic and communication was perfect.

Very well equipped house - better than my own home! Very good communication and excellent directions to find the property from the host. Nice outside seating area if the weather allows.

There are a few steps to go up and down to access the property so perhaps not the best for anyone with mobility issues. There were a couple of little things which needed a little tlc but non of this would prevent me from staying there again and recommending to others.

Good location for exploring the surrounding area. The house was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. Great communication from the owner and the tea/coffee/hand soap etc being available was a nice touch. We had a lovely stay!

Dealing with the host, Natasha, was brilliant. She was so helpful and easy to contact. I told her I had an allergy to feathers, so she made sure all my bedding was non-allergenic. The house itself is quite basic but has everything you need such as wi-fi, smart tv, heating etc. The beds were lovely and comfy. Kitchen was small but fully equipped and ample for us, same with the garden. We did get visited by a local cat which seemed very friendly, not worried about the dogs either.

We were initially concerned about parking our car on the main road outside the property but we did with no issues.
