Love the wood concept but it's not soundproof and very pricey to not be able to sleep well :(

I love the idea of all the wood, the breakfast was decent, location was good once we were able to find it (it's a bit confusing with all the 'Frutt' lodging, hotel locations in town). I love that you don't allow dogs (animals) as I have allergies and this is very much appreciated that the hotel is dog-free.

Check-in was horrible, I had checked in ready to open our room door with my phone, we get inside the hotel, finally find the room in the maze and there was no cell service so of course opening the door with my phone didn't work. The building was like being in a cellar blocking cell service. We go back down to reception, no one there so we tried to connect to wifi, that didn't work. We both tried that so many times, we called the hotel and guy on the phone disconnected without helping us. Finally we thought, even though we already checked in online, we tried checking in again with the box machine at reception. Luckily this finally worked with the card, we were so tired from a 4 hour journey to get there and wandering around town to look for the hotel, it was not a good impression after paying almost CHF 300 for just one night's stay. The room was fine but the covers were way too warm for summer, turning on and off all the lights was super confusing and it sounded like a heard of elephants were staying above us. We were in room 3 (no noise from the sides but the floors/ceilings are not sound proof at all as we were told and this disrupted our sleep multiple times. The bathroom door should be able to stay open (we used the water bottle to keep it from shutting). The bathroom light being on automatically was keeping the room lit when we were trying to sleep. We've staying in a lot of these wooden chain locations (Adelboden and Lenzerheide) and the noise issue from the ceiling and the bathroom lighting issue is the same in all of them. It's a mystery that the builders didn't think to fortify the floors/ceiling with soundproof materials.

Highly recommended location on top of the mountain in Melchsee Frutt

Wonderful place, so hospitable, restaurant is fantastic, would stay again in a heartbeat.

Rooms a bit warm and Wi-Fi doesn’t really work but you aren’t there for the WiFi ;-)

The room was perfect with a great view. Construction was happening on one floor but the staff still made sure the common areas were clean.

Ich bin inspiriert und glücklich nachhause gereist.

Mir hat das Zimmer sehr gut gefallen. Gemütlichkeit und modern und praktisch treffen sich. Das Nachtessen im Frutto Bene war lecker, das Morgenessen hat meine Wünsche erfüllt. Ich komme wieder. Danke.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Bett direkt am Fenster mit wunderschöner Aussicht war ein highlight!! Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Da es keine "Gipfeli" mehr hatte, wurden extra neue gebacken. Wir haben es sehr genossen. Preis schon etwas höher. Da es aber nicht so viele Hotels hat, okay. Danke viel mal :-)

Preis eher hoch. Für 1-2 Nächte okay aber eine Woche da können sich nicht viele Leisten.

Wir hatten mit unserer Familie einen grossartigen Aufenthalt.

Lage des Hotels ist super. Gastronomie im Haus Top. Aufenthaltsbereiche Top. Personal sehr freundlich. Gepäck bis ins Zimmer angeliefert und abgeholt.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt, trotz mässigem Wetter. Nichts zu beanstanden.

Ehrlich gesagt beim Check-In + Check-Out bin ich mir andere Sachen gewöhnt. Wir hatten das auch nicht ganz richtig angegeben, resp. über BookingCom war das nicht anders möglich.

Wunderbar und erholsam

Die Unterkunft ist neu und superschön. Die grossen Fenster mit Blick auf die Berge, einfach fantastisch. Das Frühstück war lecker und Franzi und Antonio sind für jeden Wunsch zur Stelle!

Es wäre schön wenn es zur Nespressomaschine 2 Kapseln dazu geben würde. Ebenfalls wäre ein Abfalleimer im Zimmer praktisch!
