Villa Bukit Temawang Near Sidemen and Mount Agung

L’emplacement est très beau, la vue sur le Gunung Agung est superbe, avec un joli jardin et des bassins charmants. La literie très confortable, les chambres spacieuses et l’espace de vie est bien aménagé L’équipe est souriante et aux petits soins, les repas sont excellents et bien présentés . Le vrai visage de Bali!

The location is rather remote, surrounded by paddy field and other greenery. The view is breathtaking in the morning with Mount Agung in the front and center from the breakfast area. The helpers greeted us in the front gate as we arrived and showed us around. It was a very large property with 2 bedroom master suites. The house is a U shape, with the bedrooms flanking the common room, if you like separation from the other guests this is perfect, but for family this is rather bothersome, as you have to go through the kitchen, dining, and common room to go to the other room, especially at night when you close all doors to prevent the bugs from coming in. You need to open several doors. The walk way outside is too narrow to navigate to go to the other room. The plantation architecture style is nice until you have to close all 8 doors at night, some are stuck in the railing. The house is not sound proof, so you get to hear the sound of cicadas, and other night creatures, which is quite pleasant but it also means bugs can get in, we ended up never use the common room in the evening because of the mosquitos and it was quite hot in there, I don't remember seeing the AC unit there, it does n.ot mean it does not get in the bedroom either, except we turned on the AC in the bedrooms so it is more pleasant, There was also "farm smell". When I walked in the morning, there was a couple of cows behind the fence..... when it is hot the smell is quite unpleasant, and it is hot all the time in Bali.... I was awaken at 6:00am because there was a call to prayer announced through the loudspeaker behind the property, as I mentioned the house is not sound proof. I was a bit sad with the fact that I actually like the place but at the same time I was looking forward to move into a hotel after the stay is over so that I can sit nicely without having to worry about being bitten by mosquitoes. The guitar is a nice touch.

The "farm smell," the mosquitoes in the house, the doors. Couldn't rest in the common room without having to worry about mosquitoes. Also the sofas are very scratchy and the arm rest uncomfortable.

Loved the tranquility, didn’t feel like a tourist hot spot. Exactly What we needed to unwind. Loved the space.

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. The landscape backdrop felt like we were in a movie.
