Great location, room and reception staff very helpful, would definitely chose it again.

The location is excellent! The room was spacious with a huge bed and ours had an amazing view to the Pepé beach.

The restaurant area could be renovated, it is quite outdated. We did not have a kettle in the room.

Restaurant was terrible, all items in the menu, were not available… staff is rude especially the lobby.

No food available, besides the free breakfasts no items listed in the menu were available… I had to give money to a guest whom I didn’t know to pay for her hot water, staff has no change when this particular guest wanted to pay for hot water”

Good stay, but wasn't worth the price

The location in Barra is very good! Next to the restaurants, and the room had an amazing seaview!

I don't think my stay was worth the price I had paid. The breakfast was always crowded and the staff couldn't refill the food in time, also the food wasn't very diverse and didn't look very delicious. The hotel didn't have flatirons to lend to the guests. The room had few power outlets, only one pillow for each bed (they kinda didn't like when we requested more) and the AC was sooo loud.

Location wise, staff is helpful

I left 300 reales as a deposit (in case something was missing/broken) They explained me this won’t be charged unless any of the above listed happened. I checked- out from the hotel the 12th January, my money was not reimbursed yet.

The location is amazing. Just in front of the Barra beach. It is easy to reach main attractions and the famous street life just by the corner. There are many options of restaurants and bars.

Hotel is fine but old, some features are not working properly, like door knobs falling when closing doors. Hotel management should pay more attention to details.

It's nice place but lots of opportunity left to maximize.

So this is a popular hotel with many international guests. However they did not have a single charger or adaptor available. I was in a dire situation where my phone died and could not get it charged. Crazy how they don't have a single charger or adaptor...they should stock up on those!!! Also didn't like how they don't have an umbrella or food/drink service at the beach. They could make so much more money offering that and giving a discount to the guests at the hotel. We sat on the sand and had nothing to eat or drink.

The facilities are fine, the hotel has great potential

The staff was rude, when coming back from the beach they yell at you to go clean the sand, and to do it you have to go down the garage and find a water tap that is in the dark. After that, they request you to use the back elevator, like you weren't a guest who is paying for your staying The breakfast only has two options: fruit or bakery (and none of them are good) This place has more signs telling you what you are not allowed than I ever seen before

Night mare

The only thing is location

The hotel consider to be 4 star hotel it is a joke. In the room we have black mold in the bathroom. In the bedroom curtain was cowered in black mold. My wife and my son was starting develop health problem. We have to move out and find other hotel. The manager refuse to refund the money for 3 night we did not stay at the hotel, because of health hazard. Don't waste your money and time. Do not stay in this hotel

it’s in front of the beach and our room had a nice balcony

the front staff at night was not very polite, they reluctantly agreed to change to two beds. I has requested that beforehand but nobody replies to my message. They charge extra for ice or hot water for tea. I asked for an extra pillow but they would not give it until the next day. Rooms are not cleaned daily unless you specifically ask. Breakfast wasn’t very good as it didn’t include Pao de queijo which is the most iconic Brazilian pastry.

worst hotel experience ever

the ocean view

dirty, old shabby sheets that looked like they had not been changed since the previous guest. the toilet seat was yellow either from being old or dirty. good terrible. I could hear my neighbor having sex and listening to music all night long. staff was rude. I checked out two days early because I couldn’t stand being there and did not get any refund.

The hotel is run down, the only good thing is it’s location.

The only good thing about this property is it’s location.

Dirty rooms, old towels, old bed sheets, uncomfortable bed. We paid for two Master suites, hotel tried to give me an inferior room. The reception staff is rude, they need training, the hotel prices are not reflecting the treatment we get as clients. The breakfast is basically bread! Hot buffet is diabolical sliced hotdog sausage, and scrambled egg. The tea cups had lipstick on. If you want to sleep here, don’t get room 101, or 201, or 301… there is a bar just outside your balcony, they will have a pagode party, it will play loud music until late hours, we asked to be moved from there on our first night because we could not sleep, the reception staff tried to move us to an inferior room category, they tried it on… when I told them I paid for a master suite, they told me they would upgrade me, only to give me the same room I paid for the other side of the building. It’s supposed to be a 4 star hotel yet they don’t even have a kettle in the suites to make tea or coffee. Reception told us to go to the shop and buy a kettle. I asked for hot water instead (as I had my own teabags) but they said they would charge 16 reais for the water, very expensive compared to cold bottled water at 10 reais per bottle and the alcoholic drinks at 15. Really poor customer service.
