Lovely luxury hotel v close to beach

Beautiful location on Barra da Tijuca beach. Rooms very spacious, easy check in. Lovely pool on the roof terrace. Quite far from the centre of Rio but nice area and very safe for women travelling alone. Shower very nice with good water pressure.

Wi-Fi very slow and unreliable. No coffee, tea or bottled water was provided in the room. Hairdryer quite old.

The room and the service were great! Especially, the breakfast was incredible - there are many options to choose from and they even changed the variety a bit each day such as cookies and muffins. The waiters were very friendly and took good care - especially Sergio, who was lovely and very welcoming!!

The hotel does not offer beach equipment such as beach chairs. However, you get beach towels. I love the idea not to change towels in our room every day to save water and to protect the environment. Nevertheless, our towels were changed every single day even though there was a sign with the same request to protect the environment.

Location

Had a bad experience! Booked many months in advance for my wife’s birthday. The room suppose to have bath, but it didn’t I contacted reception many times and got always the same answer: “We are going to fix this issue, my manager will contact you today” - I never heard from the manager!

Amazing hotel in Barra with access to great beaches and close to the main street

This is a great hotel with superb amenities, good rooms, great breakfast and atentinvr staff. We had some very annoying neighbours the first night who kept shouting in the corridors and the receptionist didn't hesitate to give us a new room when we told them about it.

Although I only stayed for 2 nights, my stay was awesome, enjoyed every minute of it.

I liked the room, the view from the roof, the breakfast and the staff assistance. I also loved the location of the hotel, close to the beach, took walks in the morning and the evening.

The language was a challenge. I could not even order an item on the menu placed in my room.

Really good room, clean and big. Expensive restaurant for Breakfast and lunch.

The room is large and well equipped. Breakfast was good. Not excepcional. But good, with a lot of food varieties.

I didn't like the price of the breakfast when purchased outside of the reservation. Over 100 reais for bread, milk and pancakes is absurd. Also, the quality of the lunch menu was just fair. Maybe I was unlucky with the weather, what drove me to the restaurante more than I would expect, but really the price does not makes any sense. In the case of the lunch, 150 reais is totally absurd.
