We loved the proximity of the house to the town centre. We loved the comfy mattress and pillows. The kitchen facilities were really good, including the coffee machine, and especially the washing machine.Free WiFi is always a winner too! We loved the towel warmer too.
We would like to make some suggestions to make a stay even better.
The heating during our stay was obviously on off peak, but in times of those chilli times in the morning and watching tv at night, it could help having a quicker source to just warm up.
A few more throw rugs, at least two might help as well. As Aussies, we had some difficulty locking the door. The process was new to us and we had a few long minutes trying to lock it before we headed off. Maybe a description to help this issue in the house booklet?

Lovely place to stay. Very clean and comfortable with lots of touches so you have everything you need. Close enough to walk to the centre via a nice river walk and within a nice neighbourhood.
Nothing. Stairs are a bit steep so if staying with a young child you’d benefit from bringing a safety gate.

It was well presented , modern and made to look quite spacious considering it’s a small house , good having the coop a short walk away , there is a few pubs near by , we didn’t go in them but probably handy for some people to have near , garden nice and enclosed if you wanted the privacy and big breakfast island to congregate round .
personally i found it a bit far out , it’s walkable but just , so spent a bit on taxis , i’m not a fan of the ten am check out , it’s too early and feels like a bit of a cash grab having to pay to extend it beyond , if it was 11 which is just one hour later it would be more reasonable .
We spent a lot of time in york , if we was to have spent more time in the house the noise transference next door would have irritated me after a while and the uncomfortable sofa , maybe a couple of tvs in the rooms would be good as the living area is small .
