Lovely house near York station

Beautifully decorated and very comfortable.The courtyard garden was lovely for the kids. Really quiet location, and walkable from the city centre and station. Sarah was a great host, and the information pack was helpful.

Not in any way a criticism, just for awareness, but at the moment there are lots of steps over the bridge from the city/station - it was a little tricky with a pram.

Perfect Location for the National Train Museum, Highly Recommend.

Property was easy to access and kept to a very high level. Clean and Comfortable. Would definitely book again and recommend for anyone wanting to visit the National Train Museum this is perfect for you!

Nothing to dislike. There is a big step into the kitchen, something to think of if booking with less mobile people. Other than that nothing.

Lovely mid terrace in York

The house is a great distance from York centre, set in a very quiet terraced street. The house itself is gorgeous, 2 spacious bedrooms, bathroom and all amenities in the kitchen. Courtyard to the back is cute with the pergola and table and chairs.

A very well-equipped and presented house. Well renovated and everything that we needed was at hand. The location was very quiet and it was a 20 minute walk into the old central part of the city. Excellent information about York was also provided.

Great house to stay in for exploring York with all amenities you could need.

Spotless and modern with everything we needed for a great weekend! The bathroom is stunning! We were easy walking distance to the city centre. The owners left great information for us about and directions to places of interest. We would definitely recommend using this as your base for exploring York and we will be back for sure.

Home away from home

The gold standard for what a holiday house could be like! The property is cared for with love and it shows. It’s very clean and newly refurbished in a minimalist but cosy design aesthetic. I particularly loved the wood furnishings and exposed brick wall in the kitchen! The facilities are excellent and considerate – the kitchen is stocked with all the cooking equipment we need, the bedrooms are comfortable and relaxing, and there is even a box of board games, books and toys. The host, Sarah, is considerate and easily reachable by message. She made us feel very welcome – thank you for hosting us in a lovely home.

Just one minor thing – the pans are all non-stick but the spatula is metal, we tried our best to not to damage the non-stick coating but other guests may not be as careful!

Beautiful house done to a very high standard and very comfortable. The owner was very helpful and would definitely stay there again.

Superb House close to York Centre

Lovely house refurbished to a high standard in a quiet street close to the railway station and about 20 minute walk into York centre. The house has a small garden, we stayed on the hottest weekend of the year and it was great to have somewhere we could sit outside. Well equipped kitchen with adequate cooking utensils. Parking is controlled Mon-Sat, but Sarah will add you to the permits in advance. We travelled with my daughter for York University open day and it was easy enough to travel around the city on foot or car. York is a lovely place, with lots of history and a good mix of restaurants and bars. We did a lot of research on self catering options for York and this was the best for a quiet and comfortable base while exploring the city

Nothing to fault, couple of observations that may help others: Both bedrooms have double beds, no options for twins in case travelling with more than 3 There is no dishwasher or washing machine, not an issue for us, but might be if you have a longer stay planned. its quite a high price for a 10AM check out, although Sarah was very good to offer use later check out on this occasion. Just one to be aware of, as I am more used to a 11 or 12 o'clock check out when booking high standard accommodation, so it was bit of a surprise.

Gorgeous house

Beautiful terraced house on a narrow, quiet street only a short walk from York railway station and city centre so a great location. High quality furnishings, comfy beds, lovely patio to sit in the sun and huge walk in shower. Cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough if you are ever visiting York. My friend and I both agreed we would definitely stay again. Sarah at LetsStay York was super helpful, before and during our stay checking in with us to ensure we were happy and had everything we needed - excellent customer service.

Fabulous York

The lovely décor/tasteful touches, cosy bedrooms, lovely shower, garden suntrap. Oh and being able to park our car and take an easy, pleasant short walk into the heart of York. Perfect 😊

Great family stay in York.

Good location, we found the best way of getting to the town centre was to go to the park and ride,free parking and reasonable prices ( only £1.30 if you're got a bus pass ).or I believe 20 min walk. The bathroom was very nicely done,with a good walk in shower. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Lovely house on a nice little street, easy reach by car or foot in to York centre. The house is done and kept to a high standard, it had everything we needed for our stay, so perfect really! The communication from the owner was fantastic, would definitely go back, when we're looking at Uni's next year.

Beautiful, clean, welcoming house in a great location.

The house has been renovated to a high and well designed standard, keeping original features which were beautiful. The house was very clean and in a great location. The heating had been on when we arrived. Check in was very easy and the host kept in touch, even adding little gifts on arrival. We had a lovely stay in the home.

Very minor but I found the shower didn’t quite get hot enough. It could be that I just didn’t work out how to use it properly.
