The chic haven

Good location, only took us about 15mins to walk into the center. The street seemed quiet and felt safe. There was 1 parking space and other parking on the street if needed. The house was mainly clean and well decorated although some furniture worn. Tea/coffee/sugar available.

There was only 2 sets of towels left out even though we'd booked for 4 people. We found old/dirty towels and bedding in cupboards/wardrobes. Some of these cupboards (not the wardrobe) looked like they should have been locked but the locks had been broken off. There was food left in the fridge (wraps, mushrooms, butter) maybe left in case we wanted to use it? I'm not sure but it felt a bit unhygienic and would have probably been better if it had been removed. Would have been nice if there was some little milks left in the hamper but not the end of the world as there is a little shop near by. Hand soap was lacking in the bathroom. I'd also messaged before check in but i didn't get a reply

Nice place to stay, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, the garden is a plus and it is close to train station and bus stops. We travelled as a family of 3 with our 3 year old, so suitable place for families, just need to mind the glass tables in the lounge.

Some things in the house are damaged such as a curtain rod downstaira, unstable coffee table, blinds upstairs are not secured properly and a silly one, there were no bin bags or a tea towel available, but apart from that which can be manded, it is good value for the money paid.

The welcome box was lovely upon arrival. Comfy beds, shower was lovely.

Wifi was terrible had to use my hotspot for the tv, 2nd bedroom didn't have a tv which was a little bit of a let down but okay. But apart from that loved our stay
