Perfect place to stay in York. A short walk from the rail station and from everything else in York, but on a quiet street. The place itself was gorgeous and modern, had everything we could possibly need for our stay. Very very clean and neat. No complaints about temperature — it stayed cool with the windows open even during a record heat wave. Fantastically comfortable bed and living room, the washer and kitchen fit out made life so much easier. Super easy check in, very communicative host.

No complaints, some of the school aged neighbors were a little talkative on the weekend, but it wasn’t anything obnoxious or unbearable.

Location great, cute set up, great for an overnight stay with pub next door. In our apartment there was a little area outside set up with chairs and table, which was a nice touch. Perfect for a couple on a overnight visiting York.

Very small bar of soap is provided nothing else on the toiletries side but I think a basic handwash/bodywash would be useful. There was a little bag on our arrival with a few tea bags and some biscuits which was nice and appreciated thank you, and whilst we understand it is self catering they only provided 2 sachets of sugar, meaning that as a couple only enough to have 1 drink. So whilst we absolutely expect and purchased our own tea etc, a bit more sugar especially as you arrive i believe should be matter of course. Stayed in another apartment few weeks back and they had a fantastic system that meant there were "top up stations" across the properties to go get more sundries such as sugar...

The location is half-way between the train station and the city center. Its actually at 8 Toft Green not Micklegate. There is a short cut from the station using John Snow Way thru Hudson Quarter Apts. Lots of hangers and drawers for storage. Nice size kitchen with appliances that were easy to operate. Lots of windows for light and ventilation. Access to the city walls is very close one street over on Micklegate. Not too far to walk to the Railway Museum.

The loud bar next door. The TV being too large so that you had to sit on the bed or chair - the couch was much too close for viewing. No luggage storage option. I took the river cruise at Museum St to use up some of the wait time and took my suitcase on board.

The property itself is well thought out, comfortable and fairly cosy, it’s in a fairly quiet location, the accessibility to town is probably one of the best things about it, oh and the sofa was comfy.

Truthfully, I don’t expect 5* treatment or anything like that but the place was dusty, over the mirror in the bathroom, all on the skirting boards etc, a fair portion of the property was dusty, the glasses in the cupboard were sticking to the surfaces with nothing in the apartment to wash clean them with, even a tiny bit of washing up liquid would have been good, maybe a hoover too, just to clean the place abit, some randomers bottle of durex play was poking out from under the bed all dusty & it may not be a requirement but even half a roll of toilet roll would have been useful upon entry of the apartment.. but there was none and to be fair the only view you’ve out the windows is a hotel and a roof dependant upon which one you look out of, if it was clean and that I’d probably stay again.
